When life brings trouble and hatred was in your way
When stars vanished and the clouds turned gray
When affection lost its attention and despisement was one to stay
Hope for the best for I will lay down by your side and together we shall pray

When the cruelty of this brutal world tires you and love is what all people lacks
When dreaming is too big and people don't get each other's backs
When humans act inhumanely and everything just sucks
Remember that even the dirtiest, most stinkiest feet were watched by socks

Though socks seemed useless, God made Himself one for you
To cover your eyes and protect your innocence, so don't blue
Be pure and plain for He looks down on you, His valuable brood
When you were suffering, He was in great pain too

When you felt alone and unloved, Lord God was your dearest friend
When you were faced with struggles and felt unwanted, He stayed with you till the end
When you thought bloodshed meant freedom, He healed you until you were mended
And now that you're cured, remember to always hold out a helping hand
