I look above and stare at the sky
Putting a smile but tears flow down my eye
I lay on the grass, back is touching the ground
Sobbing a little but not making a sound

Wishing at the stars, hoping it'll all be fine
Praying to the moon like it'll be the last time
But drowning at the darkness of this gloomy night,
You were the stars and moon who kept it bright

You were far better than gold
Because your love was the strongest gem, my very own diamond
It was as strong as a stone,
Yet as soft as a cotton

But love is unexpected, inexplicable
It will bother you, bringing more trouble
Love is playful, ambiguous
It will bedevil your mind until your heart's fully confused

Feeling a pang struck on my chest
My heart slowly sank and now I'm a complete mess
You who shaped my whole being, you who is my quiddity
You were like the air that I breathe, but why did you throttle me?

Now piece by piece, I'll collect my shattered heart
Little by little, I will forget this painful part
Pulling an all nighter as I stare at this cutter
Smiling at the world as the world itself begins to blur
