Leaves of Ebony

Am I the ony one hearing that voice? Everyone is heading to the highest floor, and here I am, wondering whose voice it was. Kind of familiar, but because of the closed area and thick walls along the hallways, it is somehow deep in tone.

I felt a nudge on my arm from Revv. "Is everything fine?"

Nodding at him, we kept going up, until we found the only room on top, Lilith's.

Enterning the room, what we found left us with our mouths open, bringing horror and anger.

Revv, Nami, Breeze and Piero looked at their parents' picture, holding the new born Silvana.

The sudden heat from Revv's aura burned the picture, leaving it to nothing but ashes.

Mour came in between the four of them. "Hey. You can't burn everything. We need those for clues."

Revv gave him an angry stare.

"Are you telling me to calm down? It is obvious they targeted my sister! For this whole damn time they planned of all it and succeeded. Now are you seriously telling me to calm down?!" almost grabbing my cousin's collar, I stopped Revv from his uprising.

Holding his hand, trying to cool it with mine covered with water shield, none of them talked again.

"We will handle this." I said to the four Phosvocs and signalled Cy and Ciro to come in frint instead.

Going through all the papers and pictures from Lilith's table and drawers, it is sure that she planned this all through out the years. But to possibly do it inside this tower is one thing I am concerned of.

Sitting down and connecting all the dots, I came up with one scenario.

"They killed Silvana." I uttered.

Breeze scoffed, looking at me with dissatisfaction. "We all know that."

"But why?" I added and then no one responded.

Looks like they are now getting my point.

"If they badly wanted revenge, why resort for something that will lead to their own doom?" everyone is in awe.

"You have a point." Cy muttered.

I know! There's a catch here.

Lilith isn't just up for killing the children of the kings and queens, there's more into it, into her motives.

"Do you think she's planning to steal the Pixie's Orblei?" Ciro asked that made me stood up.

Holy Coonies, that can be one.

"But she can't hold the power of it. She's a Shade right." Revv calmly added.

He's right, Lilith is a Shade, and trying to take the orblei into her will only make her body blow up, just like what happened to Silvana.

"Let's search for more in here." Seymour ordered and all of us went on finding more clues.

Thinking of flying up to the ceiling, where I hope to find secret pockets or any hidden messages, my mind went blank.

Opening my eyes my lips mumbled a  question instantly . "Where am I?"

Confused.

I walked towards a familiar room, and found my mother crying in her sleep.

"Mom?" getting near her, I felt her aura building up.

This is how strong she is, even in slumber, it is really evident.
