Well actually, more like 20 years ago,
Anyways, Belle married the Beast in front of thousands of their closest, personal friends. Instead of a honeymoon, however, king Beast decided to round up all of the kingdoms and got elected as the King of the United States of Auradon.
He rounded up all of the villains and sidekicks all of the interesting people and had casted them off to the Isle of the lost with a magical barrier to keep them there with basically no magic, no wifi, no way of escape.
That's where all us descendants live: Mal daughter of Maleficent, Jay son of Jafar, Evie daughter of the Evil Queen, Carlos son of Cruella de Vil and me, Thorn Daughter of the Big bad wolf and this is technically our story.
