(f/n) – friend's name
"You know, your brother's friend is fine. If I weren't into Lily, I'd go for her. Though I don't think someone could replace my Lilyflower," James says to his bestfriend, Sirius, as (y/n) and Regulus Black passed by them in the hallway.
"Nahh, I don't think she's very likeable. Who knows what she's hiding under that pretty face? Besides, she's a Slytherin, Prongs. You know better," Sirius replies, trying hard not to smile. "Plus, Lily is your soulmate, I can feel it." He adds with a chuckle.
"Oh oh, but I heard that she's really nice. My friends from Hufflepuff saw her once helping a second year Gryffindor from being bullied by boys from her own house," Peter chimes in.
"That's definitely for a show. Anyway, why are we talking about her? She's irrelevant," Sirius says, then looks over to Remus, who's walking slightly behind them, reading a small book about who-knows-what, "Hey, Moony! We got anything to do tonight?"
Remus looks up from his book. "Nope. No home works and tests for tomorrow. The first work-free night in two weeks."
"Great. I was thinking this time, we should sneak out into the –" James started but the black-haired boy cuts him off.
"Sorry, Prongs. Got plans for tonight. Maybe next time."
"What? With who?"
"Nothing and with no one important," Sirius brushes it off, casually. He's really excited for tonight but he has to be discreet about it.
"Oh okay then," Prongs replies, not entirely convinced.

"Okay, Regulus, I'll see you tomorrow!" (y/n) says as she waves back to her friend. With a smile, she, then, turns and goes to her group of girlfriends in the common room to hang out with them before dinner. Yes, she's friendly like that.
"He's so cute, I swear. One time, when we had Defence against the Dark Arts with the Gryffindors, I think he's looking at me," one of her friends was saying, with a dreamy look on her face. Her other friends go 'aww' and 'oh my god'.
"Who are we talking about?" (y/n) asks as she plops down on an armrest.
"Sirius Black. The Gryffindor. You know, Regulus' brother," her friend replies.
"Yeah, I've heard of him. What about him?"
"Well, (f/n) here thinks she's got a chance on him. You know the class where you are seated next to each other? He's looking at her. Isn't that so cute?" another friend says.
"That is indeed... cute," she tries to say. "But rumors say he's gay," she adds, withholding back a smirk.
"No, impossible!"
"I don't believe it."
"With a face like that?"
(Y/n) tries not to roll her eyes and laugh. "Well, it's just a rumor. I'm not sure myself. I just hear people talk, you know?"
"Yeah, well, it's not true," (f/n) says.
The topic about the 'cute' Gryffindor, thankfully, subsides as they make their way to the Great Hall for dinner. (Y/n) is not open to talk about Sirius Black some more, especially with her girlfriends.
During dinner, however, her friend goes full-on fan girl when she thinks Sirius is looking at her (again). Her assumptions, she believes, are confirmed. Honestly, (y/n) doesn't know whether she should laugh or be offended. She just eats quietly, oblivious to the looks she's getting from across the room.
