"No."

"Please, (y/n), it's just for –"

"Never."

"Please, I'm beg –"

"I said, no, go convince someone else to be your girlfriend."

"Fake girlfriend, (y/n), fake! You don't have to kiss me if you don't want to, just please," Sirius begs desperately.

Lately, girls who have a crush on him get on his nerves more than they get his attention. Especially now that he's accepted as a chaser for the Gryffindor Quidditch team, more were trying to be his girlfriend (as if they can). James was appointed captain this year but Sirius got in for his pure talent. Everyone agrees with this as most of the student population have seen the try-outs. These girls would just annoy Sirius more than impress him. They would openly flirt with him and that's really not his type. Apparently, he's not anymore that third year who would just go with everything and flirt with everyone. He's in sixth year, for Merlin's sake. He's now a changed person (his words, not mine).

So, right now, he's come up with a plan that involves the only girl he knows would not fall for him but (y/n) is kind of hesitant about it.

"Look, just pretend to be my girlfriend for a month and I'll leave you alone," Sirius bargains.

"We don't even like each other –"

"It's called fake dating for a reason," he cuts in, almost rolling his eyes.

"– and other girls would literally die to be your girlfriend. Just choose one lucky girl and your problem is solved. You granted a girl's wish and other girls would leave you alone. Brilliant, yeah?" (y/n) finishes with a sarcastic smile.

"No, if I choose a girl who likes me, it's going to be so hard breaking up with her but like you said, we don't even like each other so if we break up, you know, not the real break up, you're not go into all that drama because you don't like me."

"Still, I don't want to," (y/n) huffs and tries to leave.

Sirius Black and (Y/n) (L/n) are not, considerably, enemies but they aren't friends either. They were when they were young but not anymore. Not after Sirius had been sorted into Gryffindor and (y/n) to Slytherin. They met a couple of years before going to Hogwarts have been hanging out for that whole two years until they got separated by the hateful tradition of their houses. They don't talk to each other but if they do, you bet all they're going to do is argue. They try to avoid each other on purpose because according to (y/n), Sirius just ruins her beautiful day. Sirius usually does the same but right now, he's downright desperate. At first, he considered Lily but he knew James would hex the daylight out of him and Lily would not even agree to his plan. In the end, (y/n) appears to be his best choice.

"I'm not going stop until you agree, I'll follow you anywhere until you get annoyed and –" Sirius blabbers, smirking slightly as he sees (y/n)'s frown.

"Fine! Just stop talking okay! Just don't kiss me, don't touch me and don't talk," (y/n) says, a huge frown marring her pretty face.

"You know that's not how it works, right? I should be able to touch and talk to you. No pressure on the kissing, unless you want to," he winks, "and try not looking at me like you wanna kill me."

(Y/n) makes a disgusted face but says, "Oh god, this is going to be so hard."

"On the contrary, this is going to be so much, (y/n)!" Sirius smiles.

For so long, (y/n) wondered why Sirius Black had started to ignore her. She was nine when she found a best friend and she was only eleven when she lost him. At first, she was sad and insecure but as the years passed, she realized she'd done nothing to be ignored like this and it was all on Sirius why their friendship had gone to waste. Sometimes, however, she'd go and wonder what if they were still friends until now, would they be closer than James and Sirius or would they still drift off, nonetheless?
