Cait's POV
We arrived to Glasgow, greeted with even more rain. I hadn't spoken to Harry, after the show last night we were told to sleep for 7 hours before flying over to Glasgow so they can play Radio 1's Big Weekend.
We were in a back room waiting for the boys to get called on stage when I heard someone come in through the door and call "Harry!" excitedly.
I turned to see a blonde embracing Harry, his face creasing from the amount of hair in his face, a brunette guy following her.
I walked over casually, Harry smiled at me but it wasn't a confident smile. We still hadn't spoken and he wasn't sure what terms we were on.
"Cait this is Ellis, Ellis this is Cait." He introduced us.
She was pretty like, really pretty. Not in an obvious way, she was in a large denim shirt, her hair damp, her makeup slightly runny and I was jealous how she still looked so pretty despite that.
"Lovely to meet you, Harry's spoke about you so many times." She smiled sweetly. There was nothing intimidating or sarcastic about her. She was genuine.
"Lovely to meet you too."
Harry turned to the brunette guy. "You alright Jamie?" They gave each other a manly hug. "Glad you could make it mate."
"This is Jamie, my boyfriend." Ellis introduced.
Oh.
"Nice to meet you," I smile politely.
"In other news, H what is going on with your hair?!" Ellis teases roughly playing with it.
"Heeey." He frowns touching his bandana. "I like it."
"It's too long."
"Long hair, don't care."
Ellis laughs at him rolling her eyes. "I'm going to get some hot chocolate because I'm freezing. Catch you later H. Nice to meet you Cait." She smiles warmly.
"So that was Ellis." I say quietly as Harry and I stand a little closer now Ellis and Jamie had gone.
"Yup."
"I'm sorry for assuming she was some girl you were texting behind my back." I rush. "It was stupid and immature of me."
"I'd of done the same if I was in your shoes." He replies. "But you've got to trust me Cait. If we're going to be away from each other you've got to know that you're mine and I'm yours. End of." He says quietly so no one can hear.
"So you don't want to break up with me?" I ask looking up at him.
He smirks. "It never crossed my mind."
I sigh in relief.
"And if I could kiss you right Cait, I would. A hundred times."
"Only a hundred?" I pout playfully.
We both laugh before Harry's called away.
I stand at the side of the stage with Ellis who was on her second hot chocolate.
"So you and Harry..?" She smiles.
"Just friends." I say painfully.
"He's a great friend." She replies.
"He is." I take an Instagram of the boys before putting my phone away.

"How long have you known Harry?"
"Too long." She laughs. "I was the new girl at school and Harry befriended me. Since then we've always remained good friends. He's always been there for me."
"Have you ever been romantically involved?" I ask sounding genuinely interested but I knew deep down I did it for my own insecurities.
"No, god no. Harry and I have always been brother and sister type friends. I advised him on girlfriends, he advised me on boyfriends but we never had anything between us. There's never been those feelings, thankfully." She laughs.
"He's a good guy." I sigh.
"He's alright. Needs a haircut." We laughed and talked further, throughout he boys performance actually.
With Ellis I knew I'd made a new friend, and with Harry I knew I had nothing to worry about.
