Cait's POV.
It was weird living by myself, I've never lived alone before. Now that I was back at Harry's I had the run of the house.
Him and the boys returned to Dublin after the Radio 1 Big Weekend. He won't be back for around 10 days so that means 10 days to get myself together, get a job and look for somewhere to live.
I was able to catch up on emails, go for my dress fitting for my mums wedding which was in a few weeks and apply for a few jobs, still I had no answer from any but I was okay with that for now.
I'd taken a stroll to Primrose Hill, Harry doesn't live too far from there and I had never been.
I sat on a bench, book open and my flask of tea by my side. All I needed was something to eat and I'd be set but I'd forgotten to grab something on the way.
I was just turning the page when I heard a small voice say "Excuse me?"
I looked up to see a woman around 24/25 smiling down, a bunch of cards in her hands.
"Um, hi." I reply awkwardly.
"Hi, I'm Catherine. I'm from Ford Models."
I frown. "Okay.."
"I was just wondering if you've ever considered modelling before?"
I was internally laughing on the floor rolling around, but I kept my external cool and calm.
"No, I- i haven't."
"Well," She hands me a card. "Here, I think you have a great facial structure for it. This is my card and where our offices are based. We're holding auditions for new talent on Monday morning. You should head down..?"
"Oh, Cait. I'm Cait." I answered.
"Cait. Great. So.. yeah. Head down I'm sure the judges would love you."
"Oh, well thanks. I'll think about it."
"Please do. Have a great day." She smiled walking off.
"You too." I reply quietly looking down at her card.

I didn't know what to do. This was real, she was actually from a modelling agency.
Me? Model? That is the biggest joke. I mean, I wouldn't say I'm the ugliest thing but modelling? I am no where near skinny enough and god help anyone trying to get me to walk in heels. I don't have the attitude of a model or the sass.
I put her card in my bag and returned to my book. Modelling, ha.

"So are you going to do it?" I'd invited Lottie and Fiz down to London for the weekend. Fiz declined wanting to spend the weekend with her friends so it was just Lottie and i.
She'd dragged me around Oxford Street before we were too hungry to continue. We found a cute little Italian restaurant nearby and were currently waiting on our orders.
"I don't know. It's modelling Lottie. Modelling." I repeat.
"Yeah, so?"
"When you model you have to make people believe you, make them want to buy whatever it is your selling. Is this the face of someone you'd buy off?" I ask pointing to my face.
"You don't see what everyone else sees. You'd be the perfect model. You have a great jaw, great eyebrows, perfect legs and no boobs."
"Heey." I frown. As I said it I instantly thought of Harry and the way he childishly says 'heeey'. I sighed and twirled my pasta around my fork, my head leaning on my hand.
"What's up Cait? Is it really just the modelling thing or something else?" Damn Lottie knows me.
"No, just the modelling thing." I lie. It's too complicated and although I trust her I knew she'd tell mum about Harry and I.
"Well personally, I think you should go to the audition. You have nothing to lose and at the end of the day, if you do - which you will - get through you'd earn shit loads."
"Mhmm." I hum unsure whether or not I was persuaded enough but I guess auditioning wouldn't hurt anyone.

"You're what?"
"I'm going to a modelling audition."
I hadn't FaceTimed Harry in so long, every time we tried something or someone interrupted, seeing as the boys didn't know about us yet it was even harder to get alone time.
The boys are in Manchester performing 3 nights so Harry returned home to Cheshire for a little stop so he was alone in his actual bedroom.
"Are you happy to do that?"
I pick out some jeans from my wardrobe. I had emailed Catherine asking for the time of the audition. '10am tomorrow. arr at 9:45am. plain black clothing pls :)' She had replied.
"I mean, I have nothing to lose." I put the jeans back picking up a different pair.
"Does Louis know?"
I decide on the jeans and walk back to my bed, falling on my front and tilting the laptop screen down so he can see me better.
"Nope. Only you and Lottie. It's only an audition, if I get it I'll tell him, if I don't he'll never know I went."
"Okay. You'll get it, I know you will, I mean you're gorgeous Cait."
I blush. "Oh hush you only like me because I make good pancakes." I tease.
"I like you for multiple reasons."
"Name 3."
"Only 3?"
I nod. "Only 3."
"I like you because you're unselfish, you consider everyone else's feelings before your own. I like you because even in no makeup and my shirt you could walk down a runway and wow people, and I like you because you're so interested in what people say, you listen to everyone and look at them as if they're important."
I smile, he is honestly the cutest human being on earth.
"What did I do to deserve you?" I ask softly.
"You deserve me as much as I deserve you."
I sigh. "I miss you."
He swallows. "I miss you too, I'll be home soon."
And with that I knew, that wherever Harry was, he was my home.
