One year(or so) on..

Cait's POV

"This is not working," I sigh in frustration. "I can't do this."

"What's wrong babe?" Jamie chirped walking into my kitchen.

"This cake I'm making for Gemma, I either add too much or too little, I can't do it."

"Are you even reading the measurements list?" He smirked holding up the book that was now covered in flour.

"I gave up with that," I wave it off.

"Babe, you can't just not read instructions - of course it's going to go wrong."

I pout putting the bowl in the sink. "I'll buy one," I sigh.

I turn around my arms instantly around Jamie's neck. "How was your day handsome,"

"Alright, better now that I'm here."

I smile kissing him. "I missed you,"

"I missed you too eventhough I saw you this morning."

I sigh happily, my hands playing with his hair.

That's all I've been these past nine months; happy. Ever since Jamie and I got together our relationship has just been easy going.

The first three months I didn't really know what to do with myself, I didn't know how i'd get over Harry, or if I ever would. But then, on a random shoot one day along came Jamie. He was sweet, handsome and easy to talk to.

My career has picked up this past year, I've been able to visit places in America, Europe and Australia. Comparing myself to last years Cait I couldn't be happier, I don't have the stress of who's watching me, or who might tweet this or that I mean, don't get me wrong, people still tweet and a lot of people tell me to get back together with Harry but it's not the same attention, it's not intense or pressured.

I can finally be me, and Jamie is there most of the time to support me, him being a model too he understands me completely.

"You okay doll?" He asks moving some hair out of my face.

"Peachy."

"You're worried about seeing Harry tomorrow aren't you?"

It was weird how well he knew me, sometimes I think he can read me better than Harry did.

"Not worried just.. anxious. I'm not great at big events anyway so he's just an add on."

Jamie kissed my lips sweetly. "I know, but I'll be there, holding your hand."

I kiss him again. "Promise?"

"Pinky."

We both laugh as my phone rings. Jamie walks into my living room as I answer.

"Louis Tomlinson, to what do I owe this pleasure?" I smirk.

Louis and I got things back on track, when Gemma told him how bad I was after Harry and I split, he drove round and stayed with me for about 5 days to make sure I ate, slept etc. We were able to talk and figure everything out promising never to shut each other out again.

"Cait, how are you getting to Gemma's birthday thing tomorrow?"

"I was going to take my broom, I think it's out of charge though dammit." I smirk at my sarcasm.

"Cait.."

"No sorry, car. Jamie and I are going by car."

"Mind if I ride with you?"

"Aren't you going with Eleanor?"

"Eleanor can't make it." He exhales. "Uni finals or something."

I wanted to be sad, but I wasn't. One of the things Louis and I discussed was my disliking towards Eleanor, although I agreed to be civil it doesn't mean I have to be devastated that she couldn't make it.

"Okay well, be at mine for six, we're leaving at half past."

"Cool, bye sis,"

"Bye." I sing.

"Everything okay?" Jamie asks as I join him on the sofa, snuggling into him.

"Yeah, Louis' coming with us to the party."

"Okay, cool."

"Fancy pizza?" I ask lifting my head up to kiss him.

"I fancy you,"

"Hmm," I smirk allowing him to kiss me again. "I fancy pizza a little but more than you,"

He gasps in fake horror before tickling me making me laugh so hard I was crying.

"S-stop!" I stuttered.

"I'll order pizza, ham and sweetcorn?"

"As always." I grin taking the remote and finding us a film.
