"I love you so much, Kei."
"Kei...Kei..."
Tsukishima's eyes opened slowly. He felt the heat gathering in his cheeks. Days have passed since the fashion show, but what happened that night is still fresh in his mind. It would often pop up in his mind in inappropriate situations, like having serious conversations with Yamaguchi and Akaashi, which makes him red and bury his face in his palms.
Yamaguchi is lowkey suspicious, and he believes that his hunch is true. That night, he saw Suna bothering Tsukishima once more from afar. He was supposed to stand up and help his friend but a different scene unfolded. Kuroo snatched away Tsukishima from Suna like a candy, and hurriedly went out the event.
Tsukishima wasn't found the whole day next day, as he was about to go his best friends room, he met Kuroo who was walking from the direction Yamaguchi is heading to. Kuroo gave him a small smile before patting his shoulder and whispered something in his ear that made Yamaguchi gasp.
"Should we pick a different color of fabric for this one? Because the shade is a little bit darker from what you designed," Yamaguchi said holding a rose gold fabric up. He held a slightly worried expression. "But I was looking at the stocks in the warehouse but none of those...Are you listening, Tsukki?"
Tsukishima lifted his eyes from the ring to Yamaguchi. "Ah...Yes. "
"You seem very distracted the past few days," His olive haired friend implied intriguingly.
"Shut up, Yamaguchi."
"Sorry, Tsukki." Yamaguchi stifled a snicker. "Anyways, I need your opinion. Should we just change the color or should we just attached a gradient color of sequins?"
Tsukishima reviewed the design on his table. It was a beautiful, strapless gown that has a deep V neckline that has a high slit on the side. It was body hugging, and the colors were arranged in a gradient style from rose gold to an almost golden brown.
"It take a long time for us to work if we chose to attach sequins all over it. I'll see what I can do to ask the warehouse for a different one," Tsukishima sighed. Yamaguchi nodded his head because putting the fabrics away, and headed back to the studio.
He sighed. His face flushed when he remembered that he called Kuroo's name shamelessly while making a stupid face. Tsukishima gritted his teeth in annoyance, because it really is distracting him in a way.
He reached for the telephone to dial the warehouse. He was answered by a warm voice to ask his queries, which he instantly relayed.
"Yes, thank you. I would appreciate it if you'd call me back." As Tsukishima was about to end the call, his office door opened and it revealed the cause of his distraction.
Kuroo gave him a boyish smile. "Hi, Kei."
The way his name rolled out from Kuroo's mouth made him shiver. He doesn't know what to say in response, so he just mechanically nodded his head.
"Tet--" he paused, almost calling out his name, but instead settled for the latter. "Kuroo."
Kuroo gave lifted his eye brow. "Call me properly, Kei."
His breath hitched once more, as he tried to produce a sound. Tsukishima exhaled through his nose before repeating himself.
"Tetsurou," it sounded unfamiliar, but it brought calmness in his raging heart. "What brings you here?" he asked.
Kuroo smiled, before lifting his hand which held a large, brown paper bag. Tsukishima stood up from his chair and walked near him to receive it.
"I heard from Yams that its your favorite," Kuroo grinned. "So I had Daishou bake it for me."
