The ride back to the hotel was silent apart from Finn's music playlist playing in the background. I could see just how tense he was. His knuckles were white from gripping the steering wheel so hard.
"Finneas-"
"No! This is not right. She is such a fucking child and this is not fair. Poor you, Mia. It's all being put on you. I mean, yeah, i'm glad she's not doing drugs but she has no reason to be acting this way. It's not just to you. She's been being an ass to our whole family, but to you the most. She's changed so much and to be honest, i think you should go back to LA with Claudia. Not because i don't want you guys here, of course i want you here, but because Billie needs to take her head out of her fucking ass and listen to the people that love her before she ends up doing something completely stupid!"
Finneas broke down in front of me then. He banged his fists against the steering wheel while tears poured from his eyes. I reached over and grabbed the steering wheel in a panic, bringing the car to the stop at the side of the road.
"I'm so sorry." Finneas managed through sobs. I rested my hand on his back and just decided to let him get it out. It hurt seeing him like this.
"Hey, i'll drive us back, okay? I'll get me, you and Claudia something to eat at Tacobell and we can discuss things." I told him. We switched sides and soon i was driving to Tacobell.
"I should be the one comforting you, not the other way about." Finneas laughed humourlessly and i turned to look at him for a brief second.
"We all need to be comforted once in a while." I told him before getting out of the car to order our food.
I leaned against the window on my phone when i placed my order in and just as i looked up, the person who i didn't want to see came in and stood in front of me.
"You came to get Tacobell without me?" Her expression was masked with hurt. I laughed dryly.
"Don't talk to me, Billie, okay? You fucked this night up. You fucked our friendship up and whatever we had going on." I spat and went to collect my food before leaving without another word.
I drove back to the hotel and we landed at Finneas' room with our bags of food. Claudia's eyes lit up when she saw the bags but when Finneas sat down on the bed in front of her, she immediately grabbed his face in her hands.
"You've been crying, love. Talk to me?" She asked him and Finneas looked at me. I nodded and pulled the food from the bags and passed it out before telling Claudia the story.
"I want you guys to go back. Just to show Billie how much of a jerk she is. I'll pay, don't worry about that." Finneas told us with a small smile.
"I kissed her." I finally said and they both looked at me, shock on Claudia's face. "And i liked it. A lot. But i was drunk and it was probably just lust so i wouldn't even think twice on it."
"Billie told me how she feels about you." Finn spoke a moment after. "She really likes you and i know this sounds evil but if you go, it'll hurt her more now that you've kissed her."
"I ship it." I could hear Claudia say beside me. I turned to her and smacked her knee to which she laughed.
"Anyway, are you alright with going back?" I asked Claudia and she furrowed her eyebrows.
"It's not like i wasn't going to go before. Wanna pack again?" She asked, getting up off of the bed.
"Again." I sighed with a smile and helped Claudia pack all her shit.

I struggled to pack my own suitcase as Billie was already in the hotel room and trying to convince me to stay. I wasn't having any of it.
"Enjoy your flight. I love you." Finneas leaned in to kiss Claudia's head and pulled her in for a hug.
"Love you too, Finn." I rolled my eyes playfully and smiled when he wrapped his arms around me.
"Enjoy your flight, Mia. I love you." He kissed my head as well with a smile.
"Thank you." I pushed his arm and he laughed. He let out an "oh!" before reaching into his back pocket and pulling out a lot of money.
"Take this and share it. It'll keep you two going until we come back, i'm sure." He handed it to Claudia and she shook her head, pulling him into a hug with a sob.
While they were saying goodbye, again, i walked over to a grumpy Billie hanging behind us. I wrapped my arms around her but she didn't budge.
"Billie, i look like a weirdo. Stop." I squeezed her body and she finally put her arms around me.
"You're an ass." She spat in my ear. I allowed my hands to move around to her hips, squeezing them tightly, causing her to flinch.
"I'm an ass? Billie, please. Don't even start." I glared at her and she shook her head, a look of disgust on her face.
"You know what? You're ugly. I'm glad you're leaving." She pushed me away and i stood there, frozen. Before i knew it, my hand was stinging from the slap i just gave Billie across her face.
"Bitch." I turned around and grabbed Claudia's hand, dragging her with me to leave.
I chanced a look behind me. Billie was already making her way out of the airport and Finneas was following her, but with his back turned. He shrugged at me and i shook my head to show i was disappointed in his dickhead sister.

I looked over at Claudia a few minutes after we were seated. My mind was busy racing with things, some to do with Billie and some not. But mostly to do with Billie. Claudia's eyes were wide and she was ghostly pale. It scared me.
"Are you alright, Claudia?" I asked her, my eyebrows furrowed.
"Yeah," she laughed nervously beside me, gripping onto the armrest, "I'm just scared of planes."
I smiled at her and grabbed her hand in mine, squeezing it reassuringly. "You'll be fine."
She smiled at me and my smile grew bigger. "You're really beautiful." I mumbled to her.
Her lips fell open slightly and her cheeks heated in a pink blush.
I just smirked and looked out of the plane once we were flying on our way back home to LA.
