IVY'S POV
*i recently turned 20 and i am going to the University of California, Los Angeles. also known as UCLA. i made it into my dream college from doing community help and ap classes. joey is currently going to Stanford, which is his dream college. we are both enjoying our lives and are almost done with our college careers but i'll explain the things that happened between us being 16 and 20. joey and i have been together for almost four years and although there has been many struggles, we got through them and are stronger than ever. some of things i mentioned that were "struggles" were things such as girls flirting with him and making it look like he cheated at parties and vise versa. he is still doing football and i'm an art major, surprisingly. currently, i'm on my way to surprise joey at his dorm on campus because we both have a three day weekend. i take my suitcase out of the closet and lay it open on my bed before grabbing 4 outfits out of my closet: a comfy outfit for the plane ride back, two outfits for the days i'll be there, and a dress if we decide to go on somewhere fancy. i pack my morning and night things along with different pairs of shoes. i change into sweats and joey's hoodie that he left with me. i slide on my berks and roll my suitcase out to my car. i put it in the trunk before getting in the driver's seat and driving to the airport. 1 hour later, i arrive and park in the parking garage. i get my bag out, roll it inside the airport and check it in. i reply to joey's texts while i stand in line for security.*

joey- hi baby, i miss you. we both have a three day weekend so that's means lots of facetimes!
ivy- i miss you more and i know! i'm so excited :) i have no homework at all ❤️
joey- i wish we could be with each other :(
ivy- me too love :( we can soon i promise. only two more weeks of school
joey- i know. we can get through it 🥺

*i put my phone and shoes in the box before i walk through the scanner. it doesn't go off and i put my shoes back on as i grab my phone. i walk over to the starbucks in the airport and order a hot chocolate with a muffin. i pay the lady and wait for my order to be called. a few minutes later, i receive a phone call from joey just as my name was called and i quickly answer it while grabbing my food and drink.*
joey- hey princess
ivy- hi love, why'd you call?
joey- i just wanted to hear your voice before i went to sleep
ivy- awh baby
