IVY'S POV
*it has been a few days since i've been sick and i finally have enough strength to go back to my normal life. i tie my hair in a ponytail and change into a tank top and shorts before walking out to the living room where joey and his family are.*
joey- hey princess
ivy- hi baby, is everyone ready to pack the moving truck?
joey- yeah, just waiting on sophia to put on her shoes
*i giggle and drink some water from the kitchen. he kisses my forehead and i smile, hugging him. he hugs back and i whisper in his ear.*
ivy- the day is finally here
joey- i know i'm so excited baby, it's going to be amazing
ivy- i know it will be my love
*we pull away from each other's grip and start picking up boxes to put in the back of the truck, starting with all of the big boxes. we get the big boxes in after 30 minutes and start packing my furniture, such as my bed frame and dresser, things like that. joey's boxes were already in there so we were just adding on to everything already in there. it only takes us about 20 minutes to get all of my furniture into the back of the moving truck and we start bringing all the little boxes. i smile at joey and he smiles big back, wiping the sweat off his forehead. i giggle quietly and put the remaining boxes in the back. i shut the door and wipe my forehead before walking over to everyone.*
jen- we did it. now it's time to go and unload everything
sophia- this is so fun
bella- the fun part is taking everything out of the boxes
joey- i think all of this is fun
ivy- i agree with joey!
*everyone laughs and i lean into joey, smiling big. he kisses the top of my head and i wrap my arm around his arm, connecting our hands. he intertwines our fingers and we walk to our car.*
joey- mom we will meet you guys there since there isn't enough room in the truck
jen- okay sounds good. drive safely i love you
ivy- we love you too, drive safe
*we wave goodbye as we start driving down the road, heading to our new home. i intertwine our fingers and joey holds my hand close.*
joey- how are you feeling babe? any dizziness or anything?
ivy- no i'm okay as long as i eat and drink enough. thank you for checking on me though
joey- of course
*he kisses the back of my hand and i lay my head on his shoulder. i run my thumb across his knuckles as he drives and around 20 minutes later, we get to the apartment complex. i smile big and jump out of the car, running towards the front door to open it. i unlock the door and joey walks up behind me, hugging me from behind. i giggle and put my hand on the side of his head.*
joey- you seem so happy today baby i love it
ivy- i am happy. this is actually happening
