IVY'S POV
*i lay on my stomach in the chair on the side of pool and feel a presence next to me. i look behind me and see joey walking towards me as he drips water everywhere. i sit normally and face him with a smile on my face. he smiles back and kisses me. i kiss back and intertwine our fingers.*
joey- i have a surprise for you
ivy- what is it baby? i don't want it to be expensive
joey- come here, i'll show you
*i stand up and walk along side with him next to the pool. he picks me up, jumping into the pool. i scream as i hold onto him tighter and plug my nose as go underwater. i swim to the top of the surface and wipe my eyes, waiting for him to come up. he shakes his head to move his hair and smiles big. i pout and he wraps his arms around my waist.*
joey- you're not mad at me princess
ivy- i'm not but i'm trying to be
*he kisses my forehead and i cover my face to hide the fact that i'm smiling. i lay my head on his shoulder and he kisses my cheek a couple times.*
ivy- this isn't fair babe
joey- why not? i think it's pretty fair love
ivy- i can't ever be mad at you, that's what not fair
*i giggle and he squeezes my waist a little. i squirm from being ticklish and he smiles big while laughing.*
joey- that just shows that you loveeee me
ivy- yes i doooo
*i kiss his jaw and run my thumb over the hickey i gave him earlier.*
joey- do you want to go get a snack then go to the gym baby?
ivy- oou yes can we please do that
joey- don't even say what i think you're going to say
ivy- i'm not going to say it love, i promise
*i cup his face and lock my eyes with his. he smiles and kisses my forehead. i smile back and walk out of the pool using the steps. joey comes up behind me and wraps a towel around me. i giggle and hold it as i shiver and we walk back to our room. i change into workout clothes and put my hair up in a ponytail. joey walks into the bathroom with a loose tank top and basketball shorts on.*
ivy- damn my baby looks good
joey- stop itt that's you
ivy- hey i'm right this time
*i peck his lips and grab a granola bar out of our small pantry. i grab my phone and headphones before tying my shoes and opening the door. we walk to the gym and i start running on the treadmill. i wipe my sweat off with a towel and keep running. i finish running after about 10 minutes and walk over to the open floor in the gym to work on my core.*
JOEY'S POV
*ivy is in bathroom showering and i sit on the balcony watching the videos she's taken so far. i smile big at the clip of us laying in bed with her head on my chest. she was smiling big and recording me sleeping. i hear the door open behind me and i look at ivy in leggings and my sweatshirts with her natural hair down and wet. i put the camera down and she sits down close to my lap. i put her in my lap and she curls into a ball. i rub her back and she plays with my fingers.*
joey- are you okay love?
ivy- yes just very sore from the gym
joey- do you want me to give you a massage after i shower?
ivy- yes please
joey- promise that's all that's wrong?
ivy- i promise. i just wanted to cuddle
*she kisses my cheek and i kiss her temple a few times before she stands up. she lays on the bed and i follow her inside.*
joey- i'm going to take a quick shower baby
ivy- okay i'll be here. i love you
joey- i love you more
*i hop into the shower and get my hair and body wet. i wash my hair with my shampoo and wash my body with spice body wash. i wash the soap off my body and out of my hair. i turn off the water and wrap the towel around my waist. i change into sweats and dry my hair before walking out to the bed. i lay down next to ivy. she turns to me and buries her face in my chest. i play with her hair and hear soft breathing. i giggle and cover both of us with the blankets and sheets. i close my eyes and as my head hits the pillow, i fall asleep almost immediately.*
{ 2 hours later }
*i wake up to ivy playing with my hair and my head on her lap. i open my eyes and she looks down at me. i smile and she smiles back, continuing to play with my hair.*
ivy- how was your nap baby?
joey- it was very much needed. how long have you been up?
ivy- about 30 minutes watching tv
joey- you could've woken me up princess
ivy- but i didn't want to. plus you just admitted that you really needed that nap
joey- you got me there
ivy- i ordered room service for us
joey- you didn't have to do that baby but thank you
ivy- you're welcome love
*i sit up and kiss her softly. she kisses back and i deepen the kiss. she wraps her arms around my neck and i put my hands on her waist, pulling her onto my lap. she giggles into the kiss and runs her fingers through my hair. i lay back with her on top of me and kiss down her neck. she tilts her head to give me more room and she bites her lip. i leave a small hickey and she mumbles my name under her breath.*
joey- are you sure you want to do this baby?
ivy- yes, are you?
joey- as long as you are
*i grab a condom from my suitcase and rest it on the nightstand before continuing what just ended.*
