IVY'S POV
*i wake up in the morning and look at my finger, seeing the engagement ring on it. i smile big and lay my head on joey's chest, thinking about our future. i'm really getting married to the love of my life. i still can't believe it and it's been at least 12 hours since he asked me. i look up at him and kiss his cheek, seeing his eyes flutter open.*
ivy- good morning baby
joey- good morning my future wife
ivy- i still can't believe it, you're crazy
joey- i told you the trip would get better
{ flashback }
ivy- this is so beautiful baby
joey- i'm glad you like it princess
ivy- like it? i love this. it's my dream
joey- we have a relaxing day today so we don't need to worry about going anywhere
ivy- we can just order room service or something, like pizza
joey- yeah we can figure it out later though. it's only 3pm
*she nods and starts unpacking her clothes, putting them in the closet that's in our bedroom. i do the same and we finish looking around the whole villa after. it has a kitchen, bathroom, bathtub and shower, our bedroom and a small living area. i lay down on the bed and ivy lays down on top of me. i intertwine our fingers and lay our arms down on both sides of us. i pucker my lips and she pecks my lips a bunch. i kiss back each time and giggle, causing her to look at me with a big smile. i smile back and she lays her head on my chest. i play with her hair and she glances up at me.*
ivy- thank you for all of this again baby. i really can't believe it
joey- believe it because it's only going to get better from here
{ end of flashback }
ivy- you weren't wrong
joey- i'm happy that you said yes
ivy- why wouldn't i? plus i really admire that you timed it the same time as we started dating
joey- i was so nervous, i planned that for a month and didn't even go off the paper i wrote of what i was going to say
ivy- that just makes it more special love
joey- really? how?
ivy- because it came from your heart not after writing it down
joey- but even the paper was from my heart
ivy- i know baby but still
*he nods and i giggle while kissing his cheek. he smiles big and cups my face, connecting our lips. i kiss back and hold the kiss for a few seconds before pulling away to tease him.*
joey- you always tease me baby
ivy- it's fun, why wouldn't i?
joey- does that mean you're going to be a tease in bed?
ivy- joseph birlem! you are disgusting
