IVY'S POV
*jen is currently driving all of us to the movie theater and joey is with me in the very back. i lay my head on his shoulder with my legs crossed and he rests his hand on my thigh. i look up at him, smiling and he looks down at me.*
joey- what are you smiling about so much love?
ivy- this reminds me of when we first started dating. we would always sit back here with sophia in the middle and your mom and bella in the front
joey- it really does baby
*he smiles at me and i can't help but giggle. he kisses my forehead and i look through the front window to see jen looking at us through the mirror. i point it out to joey and he shakes his head while laughing.*
joey- is everything okay mom?
jen- yeah. just checking on the love bugs
joey- i knew we should've driven ourselves to the movies
*jen gasps while driving and i look up at joey. he chuckles and jen just laughs.*
jen- you cant get back to your dorm without me driving you now anyway
joey- theres uber
jen- gosh ivy what have you done to my sweet boy?
*she laughs while saying that i giggle, intertwining our fingers.*
ivy- sorry jen, i may have introduced him to different ways of transportation when we were dating
jen- woah it all makes sense now
*she parks the car and all of us get out. i run to the window where people buy tickets and pay for everyone. joey glares at me while jen tries paying me back.*
ivy- it's okay guys, it's on me
jen- ivy please take the money. you don't have to pay
ivy- it's okay jen. you guys flew out here to surprise us. it's my treat
joey- at least let me pay for my ticket baby
ivy- how about no because you paid for our vacation
*he looks at me dumbfounded and i kiss him softly. he kisses back and we walk into the movie theater.*
jen- i'm paying for food and drinks, that's final
joey- what if i wanted to mom
jen- nice try j, i'm not letting my son buy me food
*i intertwine our fingers and joey looks at me, gently squeezing my hand. i give everyone their movie ticket and jen buys popcorn for us to share.*
jen- what do you guys want to drink?
sophia- coke
bella- water
ivy- water please
joey- i'll have lemonade
