Your school was holding a parents evening. The one night of the year where parents would come to hear how their child was doing during high school.

You would've been fine about it, if there wasn't one issue: you had no parents.

Since majority of everyone was busy; you came to the conclusion if you didn't remind the boys, you wouldn't have to go.

I mean, technically it's not lying..

You sank into the sofa as you flicked channels, settling on some wildlife documentary.

"Hey."

You looked to your side to see Jimin grinning slightly while slumping down beside you.

"What's made you so happy?" You giggled, taking a bite of your tub-ice-cream.

"Another successful V-LIVE by Park Jimin~!" He grinned to the extend his eyes crincled shut.

You chuckled at his playful attitude before passing the remote control to him. "Pick what you like." You smiled. But before he could take it from your hand, his phone buzzed.

You stayed silent and turned back to the TV.

"Hey Y/N..." He adressed you. "Do you have your school evening thingy tonight?" Jimin asked whilst still not looking up from his phone.

"Oh..um..yeah..?" You continued staring at the TV.

"Aren't we meant to be going?" He looked up at you, in a state of puzzlement.

"Um.. I didn't wanna bother you guys.." You lied.

Great, now you just lied.

"Oh it's fine! I've got loads to do but there's always time when it comes to you, Y/N. Get your trainers on and I'll take you since the others seem busy." Jimin smiled, ruffling your hair before standing up and jogging to his room.

"W-what about your fans?" You tried to reason from behind him.

Jimin popped his head round the door, "I'll wear a mask. But I mean most people don't know anyway, right?"

You nodded, sighing.

"Oh well..."

~~~
"Which teacher do you want to see first?" Jimin asked as he stood beside you. You both examined the hall of overflowing students, teachers and desks dotted amungs them.
"Um... maybe my form tutor? She is, like, our personal teacher...I guess." You suggested nervously.
You dazed off slightly and watched some kids, a little younger than you, run into their father's arms and hug him tight at the sight of good results. You sighed and looked down.
"Okie! Lead the way." Your brother cheered.
You led Jimin through the sea of people, eventually arriving in the queue of your desired teacher.
While you waited, you watched your classmates. There was one thing in common between them all that you couldn't help notice.. they all brought their parent...
"Hey Y/N."
You snapped your head up to become face-to-face with Dohyun, your current Korean-literature partner.
He smiled fondly at you as you passed back an awkward smile.
"I didn't know you were here." He chuckled. You could only stare at him quizically.
"Where are your parents?" Dohyun asked, glancing behind and around you.
"Um..uh..t-they-"
Before you could reply Dohyun locked eyes with Jimin.
"Is he your boyfriend?"
You spared a glance at Jimin, his eyes were narrowed as he looked at Dohyun. Easily, he gave of a threatening vibe.
"N-no, he's my broth-"
"I'm her brother. So you better scram." Jimin warned, even though he'd done nothing, that you could see, wrong.
Dohyun, looked at you and sighed slightly. He turned and left under Jimin's icey glare.
"Jimin," You sighed. "He did nothing wrong... I'm 15, I-"
"Jeon Y/N?"
You mentally slapped yourself, you just had to keep getting interrupted didn't you?
You and Jimin took a seat behind the desk, Mrs Kim smiling at you both.
The short service went well, a grin never left either of your faces as your teacher expressed her gratitude for your...well... existence.
But, alas, the mood has to be ruined.
"Before you leave, sir, may I have your name?"
Mrs Kim pushed a sheet before Jimin as he picked up a pen.
Name of Parent:
Relation to pupil: Father
How old do I look?! Jimin bit his lip, perhaps it wasn't obvious when he was wearing a mask. "Sorry, ma'am, but I'm actually her brother."
Your teacher chuckled with an "Oh! I see" and scribbled down some things, after reclaiming her sheet.
"Parents chilling at home, huh? Busy day after working." She giggled and dismissed you.
Once you got in the car, Jimin gulped.
"I'm sorry... Y/N-ah." He looked at you before starting the car.
"It's not your fault, I didn't want to go in the first place." You told him honestly.
"It's just... it's... it's hard to tell people, oppa." Your voice dropped. "It's hard to talk about it..."
You felt Jimin's hand on your back.
You took a deep breath, "It-" Your voice instantly cracked. Both you and Jimin knew you wouldn't be able to say another word.
"Lets just go home." Jimin concluded, taking your hand and holding it against his thigh majority of the journey.
