'Good morning, Sam' Andrea said in a cheerful tone, as I walked over to her.
'Nothing good about this morning' I mumbled.
'I know, but you can at least try to make it good' she said.
'Morning, bitches' Mike said.
'Morning, asshole' I replied.
'Good morning, Mike' Andrea said.
Hi, I'm Samantha, or Sam for short. I'm a normal 16 year old girl. I live with my parents and my two year old sister. I don't know if she was a mistake, or not, but I love my little sister to death. She's my little princess, my baby girl, my world.
Mike and Andrea are my best friends. We all live in the same street and we've known each other since we were small kids. Andrea is always cheerful and happy, tying to make the best out of the situation. She's very serious about school and is a great student.
Mike in the other hand is the total opposite. He's very sarcastic and doesn't take school serious, at all. If he's unhappy, he'll show it without a problem, unlike Andrea, who always looks at the bright side of it. To have a normal conversation with him, is kinda rare.
I'm in the middle. I'm not very serious, but I'm also not as bad as Mike. Unlike Andrea, me and Mike cuss, a lot. We also tend to be rude to the teachers, every so often. She doesn't really mind, but you'll never hear anything of that kind come out of her mouth. Despite our differences, we love each other. We are together a lot. In school they call us 'the threesome', which I think is kinda funny. We joke about it a lot.
'Well, I gotta go to class. See you at lunch' Andrea said.
'See ya' I said.
Our schedules are very different. I have no classes with Andrea and only English with Mike. We always spent lunch together, though.
'Let's go to class. We have English' Mike said. I got my books out of my locker and followed him to our English class.
'Good morning, students' our teacher said. A few students mumbled a 'good morning' back.
'Hey, did you know she used to be a famous singer?' Mike asked me. I looked at him with a weird expression on my face.
'It's true. I did my research on her' he said. I smiled. Mike does research on every new teacher we get.
School started last week and we got a new English teacher. Her name's miss Lovato. She's in her mid-thirties and she's pretty good looking. She's not very strict, but in a way she is. Most students are okay with her and try to behave in her class. I always zone out, though. I have a really hard time concentrating during a lot of lessons. One of them is English. I was zoning out right now, too. I was thinking of a lot of things, but mainly my little sister.
'Miss Johnson, pay attention, please' miss Lovato shook me out of my thoughts. I jumped up a little and looked at Mike.
'Was she talking to me?' I asked him.
'Yes, miss Johnson, I was talking to you' miss Lovato said. I hate it when people call me 'miss Johnson'. It sounds weird.
'I go by Sam, or Samantha, if you want to be official' I said. She gave me a disapproving look.
'Pay attention please' she said and returned to teaching. I had no idea what she was talking about, but decided to act like I was paying attention.
