"I totally flipped out on her, yesterday, so today I tried to avoid her. I'm kinda embarrassed by my behavior. I don't know what to do" I complained to Mike and Andrea.

We were currently in Andrea's house watching her younger siblings. They were having lunch and we were talking.

"Why do you feel bad?" Mike asked.

"Cause I was rude"

"You're rude in school, too"

"I know, but that's in school. At home I'm a different person and she's, too. She's not my teacher, she's a nice lady who's taking care if me and my sister for two and a half weeks"

"I get where you're coming from, but I wouldn't put so much thought to it. If she seems fine, then all is good, right?"

"No, not right! You can't just get mad at people for nothing and then expect them to be fine with it" Andrea butted in.
She was right, though. Miss Lovato did look kinda hurt when I said that yesterday, but she tried to play it cool.

"Mike, I got mad at her in her face, in her house, while she's nice enough to take me in. I'm not supposed to do that"

"So, apologize"

"I did, but I still feel bad"

"What did she do when you apologized?" Andrea asked.

"I don't know. I kinda ran off to bed"

"Just tell her how you feel. Tell her, it's weird for you to be in her house. Tell her, it's weird for you that she's not your teacher. Just tell her" Andrea suggested.

"I can't do that"

"Why not?"

"That's embarrassing"

"She'll understand"

"I'm not sure"

"Just try it"

"Andrea, give her a break. Not everyone is like you and can just make all their mistakes better. Sometimes you need a little more time" Mike said.

"Drea, I done" her one year old brother called. We went back to the kids.

"Wanna go to the park, princess?" I asked Soph. She eagerly shook her head, yes.

"Sierra honey, wanna come too?" She also shook her head, yes.

"Okay, go put on your coats and we'll go"

"You okay going with two kids?" miss Lovato asked. I have her a smile and a nod.

"Yeah, miss Lovato, I'll be fine. Don't worry"

"Please call me Demi" she said. Again.

"Sorry. It's hard to get used to"

"It's fine. I'm just reminding you. Don't stay away for too long, okay? You have my phone number, right?"

"Yeah"

"Great, call me if you need anything. I'll be home" she said.
She was nice. She worried so much about nothing. Like, what could go wrong? I was just going to the park with them.

"Sam, let's go!" Sierra said, as she took my hand and pulled me to the door. I took hold of Sophia's hand and we left.
