The weekend went by fast. Demi dropped Sierra off by us and went wedding planing with Wilmer. They were getting married real soon. Just two weeks to go.

All her family was coming over next week and she didn't have enough room in her house, so a few of them were gonna stay at our house.
My mom needed my help cleaning around a little.
I was kinda excited to meet her family. I wonder what they're like.

"Sam honey, time to get up. You have to go to school" mom woke me up.

I got up and got ready for school.

"Morning Sam" Mike said.

"Morning. We have English first period, right? I need your help"

"Are you gonna prank miss Lovato?"

"Kinda"

"I'm so in" he said excited, "So, what's the plan?"

"Well, I have one of her old friends number. I'm gonna call her and hang up before she answers. She's gonna call me back, hopefully, and miss Lovato is gonna be mad about being on my phone during the lesson. I'm gonna answer the phone and put it on speaker. You're gonna ask who's talking and she's gonna say Marrisa Callahan. Miss Lovato's face, is gonna be priceless" I explained.

"That's stupid. I thought you were gonna have a fun prank of something"

"Her reaction is gonna be priceless. I'm telling you"

"I don't think it's funny, but I'll do it anyway"

"Thanks"

The plan worked perfectly. Marissa was now calling me back.

"No cellphones in the classroom" Demi said, sternly.

"But I'm getting a call" I said.

"Not in the classroom!"

"But it's someone I don't know. I have to answer"

"Not in the classroom" she repeated.

I answered anyways and put it on speaker.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hi" she said.

"I'm sorry, but who's talking?" Mike asked.
Demi glared at us.

"No phones in the classroom!" she repeated.

"Marrisa Callahan. Shouldn't you know who you're calling, by the way? I'm just returning your call" Marissa said.
We both looked at Demi. She looked so shocked. She looked like she'd seen a ghost.

The whole class burst out laughing.

"I'm sorry Marissa, but I'm in the middle of class. I'll call you back later, okay?" and before she could answer, I hung up.

"What did you just say?" Demi asked.

"She said she would call her back later" Mike said.

"I would like you two to stay after class" she said and continued.

"Admit it, her face was amazing" I said to Mike.

"Yeah, it was. Who is this Marissa anyway?" he asked.

"I have no idea. I met her in the park and she said something about Sierra looking exactly like an old friend of her, that she lost touch with. She gave me her number, so I can ask Sierra's mom if she knows her and she can call her"

"Did she say it was miss Lovato?"

"No, but I just knew it was. And, I mean, her face just confirmed it, right?"

"Yeah, it totally did"

"No talking" Demi said, sternly.
I gave her a weird look, which she returned. I kept quiet, though.

"Okay, what was that all about?" Demi asked, after class.

"She was getting a call from Marissa whatever her name is" Mike explained.

"How do you know Marissa Callahan?" she asked.

"I don't" I said.

"How do you have her number?" Demi asked.

"I don't" I lied.

"You obviously do. She said she's returning your call, which means you called her first" Demi said.
Damn, she had a point there. I didn't think about that.

"You didn't think about that, did you?" Mike smirked.
I playfully slapped his arm.

"How do you know her? And how do you know that I know her?" Demi asked.

"She was the weird lady in the park" I explained.

"That doesn't explain anything"

"Well, she wanted to know if the girls are my sisters, right? Her reason was because apparently Sierra looks a lot like you and if she was my sister, it couldn't be your daughter, cause you were still in touch in the time I was born"

"Did you say I was the mom?"

"No"

"So, how did she know?"

"She doesn't. She thinks it's this old friend of hers. And I just had a strong felling that it is you, so I wanted to see if it is actually you, and your reaction was amazing" I said.
Mike started laughing.

"And why couldn't you tell me earlier?" Demi asked.

"Cause"

"Cause what?"

"Cause I wanted to do this" I said.

"You are a sneaky one, aren't you?" she said.

"Told you" I smirked.

"Don't think you're off the hook. You're in big trouble" Demi said.

"Like what? I can't come to your wedding?" I asked.

"You're getting married?" Mike asked.

"Yeah, I am" Demi said.

"Am I invited?" he asked.

"Of course you're not. Why would you?" I said.

"Dunno. Why would you"

"Cause I'm amazing"

"You know, sometimes I wonder what I ever saw in you" Mike said, which made Demi laugh.

"You can't live without me, though. Admit it" I smiled.

"Your probably right" he said.

"I know. I always am"

"How do you put up with that?" Mike asked Demi.

"Oh, you get used to it. I thought you would know that by now" Demi said.

"Yeah, I thought so, too. Apparently I was wrong" he laughed.

"I don't know if you realize, but I'm still here" I said.

"Oh, we realize. We just want you to hear it, too" Demi said.

"Fucking dickheads" I mumbled.

"Hey, we heard that" Mike said.

"I know. I wanted you to" I smirked.
God, we're so lame.
