"Good morning, Andrea" I heard Demi say, as she opened the front door.

"Good morning, miss Lovato" Andrea said.

"Come in and make yourself comfortable. Sam'll be down in a minute. And please, we're not in school, you can call me Demi" Demi said.

I came downstairs and went to the living room.

"Hi Sam!" Andrea said.

"Hey!" I said and gave her a hug, "had breakfast already?" I asked.

"Yep"

"So, what do you wanna do?"

"Let's just talk" she said. We went up to the room I was staying in and lay down on the beds.

"Nice place" Andrea commented.

"I know. See all that stuff there? She put that there for me, before I came" I said, pointing at all the stuff Demi had put there for me.

"Really? That's sweet"

"I know. She's a really sweet lady. She's nothing like she's in school. I really like her"

"Told you it wouldn't be so bad"

"You said yourself it was bad, but wanted to make me feel better by saying it's not"

"Yeah, you're right. I just like saying I told you so"

"I know you do. I've heard it more than once"

"Anyway, I didn't know she is married"

"She's not"

"But her daughter called that man, daddy"

"Cause it's her dad"

"So they're not married. Are they dating?"

"No, they got divorced"

"They got divorced, but still live together?!" she asked in disbelief.

"No, he doesn't live here. He's just visiting. He visits every second Sunday, cause they want Sierra to know both her parents"

"But it's Monday today"

"Yeah, he's staying a little longer this time"

"He nice?"

"Yeah, he's really fun" I said.

We continued talking about everything, like we usually do.
The door opened and Soph came in.

"Hi princess" I smiled.

"Demi said to call you for lunch" she said.

"Tell her we'll be down in a minute, okay?"
She nodded and left.

"Who's Demi?" Andrea asked.

"Miss Lovato, you butthead" I laughed.

"How was I supposed to know that?"

"I don't know. Maybe cause there no other person here who's name could be Demi?"

"It could be her mom or something"

"Have you seen her mom here? Cause I haven't"

"I don't know. It could be that she's here, but wasn't in the living room when I came in"

"She even told you to call her Demi. Who's the one that doesn't pay attention now, huh?" I joked. "Anyway, let's just go down and eat"

"Wait. I gotta check the mirror first. You should, too" Andrea stood staring at herself in the mirror.

"Since when do I care what I look like? I'm not gonna check the mirror, I wanna eat. Come on, let's go!" I grabbed her arm and pulled her downstairs with me.

"But your hair, Sam" she complained.

"Who gives a fuck about my hair?!"

"What did you girls do?!" Wilmer asked, as we enters the living room.

"Breathing. You should, too. It's good for your health" I joked.

"Haha, so very funny. And I'm sorry to tell you, but your head looks like a bird nest. How many eggs are already in there?" he laughed.
I gave him the death glare.

"You're just saying that cause you're jealous that you can't make a bird nest out of your hair. And I can spare Demi money with my eggs. Now, she doesn't have to buy them anymore" I said.

Demi came into the living room and started laughing.

"You should really check the mirror, sweetie" she laughed.

"You are just two big dicks" I said, "I'm beautiful just the way I am, right Andrea?"
She looked at me with a smile on her face, clearly trying not to laugh.
She nodded.

"Yes Sam, you are. Very beautiful" she said.

"And useful" Wilmer added.

"Useful?" Demi asked.

"Yeah, the eggs. She's useful" he laughed.

"Well, I'm glad you're enjoying the view" I said to Wilmer and Demi, who were still looking at me, "take a picture. It'll last longer"

"Sam, what you do to your hair?" Sophia asked, coming out of the kitchen with Sierra.

"You also? Don't you like it?" I asked her.
She shook her head.

"Looks weird" she said.

"Whatever, I'm hungry and I want to eat. And I really don't care what my bird nest looks like, so you can all stop staring now. The show is over" I said, and sat down at the table.

Fucking assholes. Laughing about my bird nest. That's not nice.
