My eyes scan the crowd for her. I was so happy that I got to surprise her on her graduation. After I had left for college we had only seen each other on weekends and it was a nightmare.

I needed to see her everyday, all day. I couldn't handle this once a week shit. I had talked my professors into giving me a few extra days on my assignments so I could come back to Troy and surprise her.

When they called her name and I watched her walk across the stage adorned in black and gold, my heart swelled. I couldn't believe my baby had graduated.

I was frantic in my search for her after the ceremony was over. I needed to see her and kiss her.

Blake and Vanessa were trailing behind me as I pushed my way through the crowd. I stop in my tracks causing them to bump in to me when I see her.

She looked absolutely stunning. Her hair was pulled back and away from her face and her makeup was light and simple. She held her cap in her hands as she engaged with Thalia and Logan.

I watched as she threw her head back and laughed at something one of them had said.

Her parents push past me and envelopes her and Logan in a sandwich hug. When they break apart her eyes trail over to mine before they widen.

She runs over to me and leaps into my arms before she plants her lips on mine. Her arms go around my neck and my support her by her waist.

When she pulls away and I set her down I notice tears in her eyes.

"Baby why are you crying?"

"I missed you and I'm so glad you're here" she says as she nestles her face in to my neck

"I missed you too Piccolo"

We stand there for a few moments just embracing each other. She pulls away slightly and kisses me again.

"I love you" I mumble against her lips

"I love you too"

She plants one last quick kiss on my lips before she pulls away and links our fingers together.

We walk over to her family and Thalia greets me with a hug.

"Congratulations you guys"

Logan stares at me skeptically before he extends his hand. I take it and shake before he quickly retracts it.

"I can't believe my babies are all grown up and headed away to college" Vanessa says with tears pouring out of her eyes.

Blake wraps a comforting arm around her waist and places a kiss on her temple.

"We are so proud of you guys" he says

I glance at Kelly and see a huge smile on her face.

I lean down and whisper in her ear.

"I have a present for you out in the truck"

She beams at me and excuses herself from her family. I lead her outside the school and to my truck.

"You don't even know how happy I am to see you. I didn't think we would see each other until I moved in next week"

Kelly and I had both got accepted to NYU, after convincing her parents, they agreed to let us share a apartment close to the campus. I'd been living there since I started two years ago.
