"She was so lovely in the moonlight that even the stars wanted to know her name." -Christy Ann Martine

Niall's POV

I feel her hand on my wrist, as I reach for the car door for Ana, and jerk it away. I turn to look at her, staring right into her eyes so that she can see the rage burning behind them. "What do you want?" I ask, in a menacingly slow voice.

"Oh, Niall-" She smirks and looks beside me. I follow her gaze to see Ana staring at me. She raises her eyebrows at me but I ignore Ana and turn back to look at her.

"Leave me alone," I say through gritted teeth and she turns to look at me, the stupid smirk still on her face.

"No. I want you, again," She speaks. "She'll never be able to give what you want. I know what you want and how you want it." She takes a step towards me so that we are only a few inches away. I scoff.

"She is everything I want. She is everything I need." I breathe, just realising at that moment that Ana is, literally, everything I ever wanted and I ever needed. She is just so perfect for me. She's witty and beautiful and caring, I couldn't help but fall for her. She's the perfect combination of sexy and cute. I love the way she'd kiss me, the taste of her lips on the tip of my tongue is all I crave, her arms around me is all I need to relax and feel loved, her body tangled with mine is all I want, her hands intertwined with mine is all I need to know that she's with me. I love the whole her. I love every single inch of her. I love her flaws, the flaws that made me fall for her even more, the flaws that made her who she is. I want nothing else as long as I have her.

With one last look at her, I help Ana inside the car, return to my seat and buckle myself before I start the engine and drive away. The drive to her house is silent. I don't know why she isn't talking about it right now, it's unlikely of her. She demands answers to every little thing we go through and it is kind of unsettling that she isn't saying something or asking for answers just now.

"Say something," I mutter, keeping my gaze settled on the road, too terrified to look at her to gauge her mood and her reaction.

"Was that Emily?" She asks in a small voice, barely audible, and my face snaps towards her and my eyes widen at her assumption.

"No, she wasn't." I shake my head.

"Then, who was she?" I feel her eyes on me, staring intently, and I squirm a little in my seat as I stare at the road.

I never thought that Ana would see her. I thought she was done when I told her off at my restaurant but who am I even kidding. She always comes back. Now that I think about it, I don't know if I even wanted Ana to know about her. Even though it was all before her, I can't help but think that maybe she'd be hurt. "Um- That was Rebecca."

"Who's Rebecca? You never told me about her," She inquires, her voice full of curiosity, jealousy and something else that I cannot decipher, and I sigh.

"She's no one important, Ana," I say and take a quick glance at Ana to see that she is not content with what she got. "I met her at a bar. I was drunk, more than I can handle, and broken and hurt," I breathe. "I slept with her."

"Oh," She whispers.

"You need to know that it was long before I even started dating you, I did not even know you, then. I was not in my right mind when I came to know that Emily was cheating on me. She-"

"Emily cheated on you?"

I bite the insides of my cheek. "Um- forget that I even said it," I mumble and stare at the road, pretending that everything is fine even when I felt a pang in my heart for a few seconds. It still hurts that she cheated on me because I loved her. I never thought that she'd do something so low with me. It was hard to accept that she'd do what she did. I saw her with my own eyes. It was cruel and heartbreaking. I was out of my mind, drunk all the time, high on emotions.
