"name?" the emt asked me.

i was on a stretcher and my mom was sitting in the back of the ambulance truck, bawling her eyes out.

"edward kaspbrak." i said. the back of the ambulance truck was very hectic. another one of the emt's was sticking an iv in my hand. it felt like someone was pinching me very hard, it was very painful.

"age?" she said, continuing asking questions.

"16." i said, sighing. this was going to be one eventful hospital visit.
