Ava's POV
I wake up but I don't open my eyes because I'm trying to savor my sleep. I'm very cold but warm and uncomfortable yet comfortable, the way I felt didn't really make sense until I opened my eyes. When I do I realize I'm on my bathroom floor which explains why I'm cold and uncomfortable. But that's not all there is, a certain sleeping blonde's legs are tangled with mine and her arms are wrapped around me while we're under my blanket. I peek under the blanket to make sure that our clothes are on which they are and I'm thankful for the fact.
This is a very awkward situation because I can't get up without waking her up unless she's a really heavy sleeper, but I'd rather not take that chance. So I just lay there, entangled with Sara with my eyes closed trying to figure out the events from last night. I can't remember anything past Sara laying me on the couch, I vaguely remember throwing up but it's kind of fuzzy. I start to think a little harder and I start getting bits and pieces like me walking to the room and talking shit about my couch. I don't have time to think any harder because Sara stirs next to me, pulling me impossibly closer to her. I don't mind it, I've missed being cuddled by someone. But I never thought the next person I'd lay next to would be Sara Lance. She moves a little more and I take this opportunity to move my legs from her and when I do she removes her arms. I turn over and decide to just see if I could get more sleep before starting the day. I feel Sara stand up and I hear her feet walk out of my bathroom.
A little while later she walks back in and shakes me awake not knowing I'm mostly up. I sit up and she puts a water bottle and some Advil next to me. I try to look her in her eyes but my bathroom light burns my eyes and puts my headache on ten so I squeeze my eyes closed and rub my temple. She laughs a little bit and turns the light off but there's still light from my bedroom window shining in.
"Hangovers must be a bitch." I look at her and cock my head.
"You don't have one?"
"Never have and hopefully never will."
I'm jealous internally but I'm too tired to to show it. She leans on the bathroom counter and crosses her arms.
"So do you... remember anything from last night?" She asks as I put two pills in my mouth and chug my water bottle.
I gasp for air because I didn't bother to breath while drinking.
"Nothing after you helping me to the couch. I vaguely remember throwing up but nothing in between those two things." She nods a little bit looking straight her lips pursed.
"What about you?"
"Hm." She turns towards me looking into my eyes.
"Do you remember anything from last night?" I question her.
"Uhhmm," She trails. "Yeah, all of it pretty vividly."
She offers me her hand to stand up and I accept it. I grab my pillows and blanket off the floor and throw them on the bed along with myself. I'm face down in my pillow when I hear rustling in my room so I pick up my head and when I do I see Sara's muscular back and arm muscles. I never thought I'd be attracted to someone's back but damn you can tell she works out.
She puts the shirt I let her borrow on my chair and puts her hoodie on and I expected her to put her pants on too but she didn't, she turned around and saw me looking at her. I didn't know what to say or do and I'm thankful she broke the silence.
"Laurel's almost here," I thought I was going to take her home. "I figured it'd be better for her to take me instead because of your hangover."
"Sounds good."
