I'm going to wrap this story up at maybe 25 chapters. More likely than not there will be a sequel book so be on the look out whenever this one ends.

Ava's POV
When I woke up I looked around my room and it was empty. I walk over to to where my phone was charging and flip it over to see a missed call from my mom and a text from Zari.
Zari☄️: Your mon called and said she woke up late so she couldn't get you so I'm driving Charlie to your house and she's going use your car to get you
That was from 30 minutes ago so if they didn't make any stops Charlie should almost be here. But I don't want to wait alone so maybe I'll go hang out in Sara's room.
"Ms. Sharpe." I hear someone say from the doorway so I turn my head to them to see it's nurse Gideon. "Dr. Savage gave you the okay earlier this morning but you were asleep and your friends said not to disturb you."
"So I'm good to go?"
"Yes ma'am." She walks over with a all white tote and holds it out to me. "Here is all of you things you came in. Hopefully someone is bringing you clothes because your leggings and hoodie have lots of holes in them from the glass."
"Thank you." I tell her with a smile.
She simply nods and walks out without another word. I grab my phone to text Charlie.
Me: When you come up can you bring my duffel? I have clothes in there, it's in my trunk. I'll be in Sara's room
I send it to her then grab my phone and charger and place them in the tote I was just given.
When I step out I don't see very many people and the people I do see aren't in a rush to do anything because 11:30 is still technically morning even though it's very close to noon.
I open Sara's room and she's passing a small stress ball back and forth between her hands looking very bored.
"Good morning." I say sunshiny.
She looks over straight faced then smiles brightly. She drops the ball and practically runs over to me. "I have been so bored in here! I thought you left." She says pulling me into a hug.
"I wouldn't leave without saying goodbye." I say and she hugs me tighter.
She lets me go get gets on her tippy toes to kiss me and it makes me smile into the kiss. I cup the side of her face. She pulls away and walks over to he bed.
"Hey so random question, how're you supposed to shower? Do they make water slings? If they don't I put a patent on that so they can't steal it." She seems a little hyper but maybe it's from being locked up.
She sits down on the bed and pats the space beside her for me to sit.
"I actually hadn't thought about that." I put my stuff on the ground and join her on the bed. "Yesterday my doctor said my arm shouldn't be out of my sling for very long and my fingers can't come out of my splints at all for a couple of weeks until therapy." I lay my head on her shoulder.
"Therapy?"
"The physical kind." I say.
"Maybe you can get a second sling specifically for showering." She suggests.
"Yea, I could try that. I just hate that I have to sleep on my back and I can't roll over or anything. Last night was so uncomfortable, you have no idea."
"Oooh and changing is going to be a struggle." She says.
"Don't remind me. I have no idea how I'm going to change when Charlie brings my stuff." I groan and lay my head on her shoulder.
