Tessa cradled her baby bump as she looked around the nursery.

It was finally coming together, and she couldn't have been more proud of the work both she and Will had put into it.

The small room was on the bottom floor of the house, tucked away under the stairs, across from Will and Tessa's.

It was painted yellow, allowing the sunlight to fill the room and illuminate it in a bright glow. The white cot was underneath the window, creating Tessa's dream image of the nursery she'd always imagined for her future child.

Clary had happily painted the walls with images of tree's and hot air balloons, creating an outdoorsy feel to the room.

She smiled softly at the sight, feeling her baby kick against her stomach.

She couldn't wait to have her small family- maybe even add to it in the future. But for now, her sole focus was on making sure her family was safe, and that she was ready to become a mother.

Tessa shut the door to the nursery softly, smiling to herself as she walked down the hall.

She jumped as someone appeared around the corner, instinctively holding her bump to protect it.

The raven haired girl stood there, looking intimidating as she stared at Tessa with serious eyes.

"Living room. Now." She commanded, already striding towards the room.

Tessa blinked, holding her hand to her heart as she tried to calm it. She wondered desperately where Will was, and why she of all people was being targeted by one of Jace's friends.

Typical, she thought, rolling her eyes. Leave it to Jace to keep his same taste in terrifying friends, even when he loses his memory.

She hesitantly approached the living room, opening the door slowly as she walked in. The raven haired girl stood in front of the fireplace, arms crossed as she stared Tessa down.

"Sit." She ordered, not batting an eyelash.

Tessa frowned, brows furrowing. "I'm sorry, who do you think you are? I'm not going to-"

"Isabelle Lightwood. Now sit down." Her tone was superior, and Tessa reluctantly sat down, glaring at the younger girl.

What the hell was all this about?

Isabelle unfolded her arms, keeping her steady eye contact with Tessa as she did so.

"I need you to tell me the truth." Her tone didn't waver, and Tessa started to squirm under her gaze.

"Truth? About what?" Tessa fired back, crossing her arms over her chest.

"About this goddamn place !" Isabelle shouted, startling Tessa to silence. "That room up there? What the hell! All this weird nostalgia deja vu shit that some of us seem to be suddenly feeling? What is this? Are you guys planning to murder us? Because you can certainly try-"

The living room door burst open, and Will was instantly standing in front of his wife protectively.

"What's going on here?" He asked carefully, casting a worried glance to his wife.

Isabelle threw her hands up into the air, "That's exactly what I was wondering, actually! Thank you!" She said sarcastically.

Tessa stood up, gently grabbing Will's arm as she settled into his side. She gave him a look, before turning to look at the girl, her deepest fears seeming to unfurl in front of her.
