"You look terrible"
"They must've beat you hard"
"Oh my god Cal"

Those were the first things the lads said after they saw me.

I swatted Michael's hands away from my cheeks

"I'm fine"
"No you aren't.i'm going to call Ben and tell him you won't be going to work tomorrow" ash said.

"No "
"Stop being so stubborn" ash said slapping my thigh
"I think you should take a day off" Keia said.

"Fine." She smiled.
"You're gonna tell it to the police?"
"Ye-"
"No I mean,they probably have search for a new hideout or something so its useless" Keia cut me off.

"Are you sure?" She nodded.

"You need wheels Keia" Luke said.
"I don't know. I haven't thought of that since i moved here"

"You can use my old bike? Its better than walking right?" She nodded
"Thanks Ash" she smiled
"Where do you live before anyway?" Michael asked.
"Adelaide" they all nodded.

"What made you move here in Sydney?" Michael asked. I watch them as i sit down on the dining chair.

"To get away"
"From what?" Ash asked.
"Something. I made eggs?" She offered, trying to change the subject.

They went to the dining area and took a seat.

"what am i supposed to do here tomorrow?" I asked.
"Just take a rest man, you should be glad you're taking a day off and not overworking at a taco shack" Michael said.

"Ok ok" i put my hands in defense then i yelped cause my bruise on my rib hurts .

"Are you ok? Guys i'll just buy pain killers for Cal ok? I'll be right back-" i grabbed her wrist and looked at her eyes.

"I don't need them."
"C'mon Cal, i'll be back before-"
"You'll be alone again"
"I'll go with her. You need those meds bud" Luke said.

"Fine." They walked to the door then waved bye. Michael and Ash pulled their chair and sat next to me.

"So how's this Keia chick?" Michael wriggled his eyebrows.
"What about her?"
"You seemed very protective earlier"
I sighed.
"I haven't moved on from yesterday's events ok? Its just a roommie instinct "
"OKAY, ROOMIE  instinct" michael said, smiling back at Ash. I threw the thro pillow that i was hugging.

"Maybe you should ask her out sometime, i mean she seems pretty cool"
"You know i'm not in to relationships, Ash"
"Yeah, i forgot. One night stands" i smirked.

"You should stop it.You might get AIDS dude" Michael smug.
"Same thing my sister said" i said taking a bite from my toast.

"Cause we're both right-"
"Why do you care? You didn't care before. Why now? Now I'm out of your flat?"
"I'm sorry. I just recently read it at one of Elle's girly magazines about dangerous things you could get from one night stands"

"Mind your own business, clifford"
"Im just saying"

It went silent for like a minute.

"Maybe,she's a cure for your sex addictiveness" ash mumbled.
"I heard that" Michael snickered"and no freakin way dude, i bet she's a virgin. I want experienced bootys" i added.

"Whatever we just suggested that's al-"

"Hey we're back!" Keia shouted.
"Why do you need to shout?!" I shouted
"I don't know!"
"Stop shouting!"
"You too!"

"Shut up, fucking both of you" Michael said, making Keia laugh.
Michael really hates people who are shouting at each other.

"We'll come and see you tomorrow, ok?" Ash said.
"Gee dad, i'll see you"
"Shut up"
"Kidding"

"You lucky ass, you're going to be alone with Keia" Luke whispered.
I cocked him an eyebrow.

"She's pretty entertaining..."
"Entertaining as in......? Holy f-"
"Not in that way you bastard, she's pretty fun to be with"

"Why is everyone so fond about her? First ash and Mikey, then you?"

"I dunno. You're just saying that cause' you're too stubborn."
"BYE" i closed the door at his face.
"Dick" Luke shouted outside.

I turned around to see Keia in the dinning area, reading something. What's so fond about her?
She chewed the cap of her ball pen then smelled it. Weirdo.

I chuckled and dived on the couch then regret it after feeling a slight pain in my stomach. I gently shifted then pressed the remote.

"Calum?"
"Yeah?" I said, eyes on the tv.

"I'm really sorry about yesterday"
"you said sorry for the millionth time Keia, ITS OK"
"Its just that, i feel like its all my fault" i nodded " and if i was back home, no one would save me" she added.

"Why? Where's your family?" I frowned, now looking at her
"I-i don't have any family" she looked at the window
"You came from an orphanage?"
"No"
"So you have a family?"
"I never considered them"
"Why?" I'm so fucking curious.

"Cal, i really thank you for yesterday and all but i don't want to talk about it right now."
"Ok"
"I'm sorry"

I am getting annoyed with 'sorry' thing.

"Say sorry one more time and i'll fuckin lost it"
"Ummm sorry?" She smiled sheepishly.

I cocked an eyebrow, signaling her that it was time for her to run. Her sheepish smile fade away as i walked towards her.

She shrieked when i tickled her on the sides.
She fell from her chair, face first. LOL.
Instead of getting mad at me, she laughed like a hyena.

Damn, this girl.
