"I don't like that Orion... Something about him feels... Off." I spoke, mostly to myself rather than Quill who was next to me.

He just hummed in response. He sat in the iron circle while I paced around it, thinking about why that twat would keep staring and insisting to stay with Lucy. It made my blood boil. How could everyone think that Lucy would be safe with him? He didn't even have a weapon on him! How could he keep her safe?

"Do you think he'll try to do something to Lucy? Maybe I should check on her." I wondered aloud. All I heard was Quill chuckling in response.

"I think the worst he'll do is try to flirt with her, Tony. Calm down." He snickered. This made me boil.

Flirt?! With MY Lucy?! I grit my teeth together and curled my hands into fists. No way in hell am I letting him do that! Not to MY Lucy!

"Oh my God, are you seriously getting jealous? You just met him!" Quill hissed.

"And I already hate him." I growled.

"I've never seen you this irrational before." Quill was testing me, I knew it. He had to be. And it was pissing me off.

"Yes, well-"

"Tony, will you calm down. I don't think he's a threat."

"You don't think he's a threat because he's not endangering your relationship!" I spat.

Quill looked up at me, genuinely confused. It made a twinge of guilt burn through my stomach. But it wasn't unreasonable to be protective over my relationship! Lucy's the best thing to have ever happened to me! As if I'd let her go so easily.

"I'm going to sew how she's doing." I stated, then briskly turned and left before Quill could say anything to me. We were stationed on the eastern wing of the building. After a brisk walk through a few rooms, I found myself in the large, open, main room of the station. There, I could see Lucy, Orion, and Chris in the iron circle. Orion sat closer to Lucy than I would've liked. Lucy looked a tad uncomfortable about the situation she was in. Chris looked quite angry at the moment. I decided that now was a good time to make myself known.

"Chris, you're here earlier than expected. Did you find anything?" I questioned as I walked over to the group. Lucy and Chris stood and began walking towards me. Internally, I beamed that I had gotten Lucy's attention enough for her to walk to me. Chris, however, seemed irritated.

"Absolutely nothing!" She hissed. Orion stood and walked towards us now.

"It really was nothing, was it?" I had to admit, I was a little disappointed. I was itching for an interesting case full of danger.

"Ms. Madson," Orion began. I couldn't even listen to him without feeling the need to cringe. "But there is a cult of sorts. I've seen them."

"Then do tell me! Withholding this information can land you in hot water." She scolded. I had seen her do this to other clients and agents before. She only did it when she was irritated with not getting anywhere in a case. In many incidents, she wasn't actually irritated with the person "withholding information".

"Yes." He was visibly pressured. "They've a strange fascination with ghosts. From what I've seen, they take sources from different places; relic men, grave digging, murder, the list goes on."

He looked like a pathetic school boy forced to recite his timetables in front of the class. His hands were tightly crossed behind his back, eyes focused on the tall woman who stood almost forebodingly over him. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at him.
