Lockwood's P.O.V

"How was it?" Lucy chuckled, knowing I just got, possibly, the worst lecture from Older-Sister-Chris.

"Well... She kinda doesn't wasn't us to be alone together..." I said, looking around and seeing that we were indeed alone.

"I can see why. You bite." She commented, showing me the bruise on her neck that I made.

"Ha ha... Yeah..." I chuckled nervously as my face heated up.

Lucy strut up to me and wrapped her arms around me, and I wrapped my arms around her.

"You also played a bit with my body." She pointed out. I felt my face get hotter.

"I... I did..." I felt so embarrassed.

She giggled. "Aww~ You're all flustered."

I covered my face with my hands.

She gently took my hands away from my face and kissed me softly, and I kissed back.

I intertwined my fingers with hers. Then I broke the kiss.

"We are going to need to get ready for work soon." I pointed out.

"Yeah." She pouted. "Where are we going first?"

"A cemetery." I guessed.

She hummed a response.

"But she also said we have to work with the three other agents..." I growled at the though of Antonio. That bastered.

"You're not already holding a grudge against Miki and Rosalina, are you?" She speculated.

"No. I just don't like Antonio." I clarified.

She giggled. "Well don't start any fights. You could summon a poltergeist."

"I promise I will try to put up with his idiotic statements for tonight." I promised.

"Good. You're less likely to die that way."

I sighed. Was that all she was going to be thinking about? Was she that worried about me? She shouldn't be. It didn't matter if I lived or died.

"I do not want you worrying about me tonight." I stated.

"I'm your girlfriend, your employee, and one of your best friends. How can I not worry about you?" She remarked.

"Because you should worry about yourself."

"How can I worry about myself when you could be in danger?!"

"Now you know how I feel!"

"Lockwood!" She whined.

"Lucy!" I whined back. She lightly slapped my face and walked to the door to her room.

Before she could open the door, I wrapped my arms around her.

"I love you." I whispered in her ear.

"I hate you." She said irritably.

"Come on. You know you love me." I begged. "I won't let you go until you tell me you love me."

"I need to change."

"I need your love."

She never did say "I love you", she had always said "you're and idiot" or "I hate you". Of course, I had always know that she still loved me. They way she showed affection was different from mine. I showed it in words and she liked to show it in actions. But right now, I wanted to hear "I love you" from her.
