Lucy's P.O.V.

"It was quite disturbing." Chris commented as she finished telling us what happened.

"QUITE?!" I screeched. "THAT SOUNDS HORRIFIC!!"

"Are you sure you weren't just hallucinating?" George asked.

"Of course not! I may get drunk off my ass, but I don't hallucinate." She took another swig of her drink.

"I'm pretty sure you were. Lucy would never do something like that." Lockwood wrapped one of his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to me.

"I'm not saying it did happen. I'm saying it's most likely going to happen." She snapped at him.

"How do you know?" Kipps snarled.

"You're doing it again." Chris chuckled.

"Doing what?! I'm not doing anything!!" Kipps raised his arms defensively.

I heard hushed and scratchy chuckling. Right. Chris has the skull.

Lockwood, Kipps and Chris continued to bicker while I investigated the skull. George and Holly soon joined me.

"Funny thing. She's always trying to keep others safe, and yet because of her, a poltergeist will be summoned." It cackled.

I repeated it's words to George and Holly.

"And she is right. What she described will happen." I was shocked.

"No it won't." I defended.

"Yes it will. I know it will."

"You're a talking skull in a jar. You don't know a thing."

"Oh don't I? How is it that we talk so much and so often? You get along better with me than any of those other pricks. Face it, you and I are a better team than those others. We could cause mass destruction if you'd just-"

"I am not letting you out. There is no way Chris is right. You'll see."

"So you think. Well, you'll see who dies." It cackled then refused to talk.

"What the fuck?" George cursed.

"George!" Holly shouted.

"What?"

"Profanity!"

Chris hummed to herself in thought while Lockwood and Kipps bickered. I put the skull away and the three of us stood up.

"Well what the hell was it talking about?" George pondered to himself.

"I don't think we want to know." Holly shuttered.

My hearing started picking up noises and I could tell Chris sensed it too.

Crying.

It was getting louder with each passing moment.

"Anthony! Quill! Shut up!" She commanded.

The both obeyed.

The crying was getting louder and louder. It was starting to bother me. It was getting to loud. Then I realized it.

The crying was turning to screaming.

I cringed at the noise. How could Chris handle this?

"Lucy?" Holly asked, noticing my stopping.

An ear piercing shriek came from what felt like right in my ear. I screamed out, crumbled to the ground and covered my ears.

I felt someone pick me off the ground. I looked over to Chris to see she was paralyzed on the ground, covering her ears. George helped her up. She slowly walked along with us. Where were we going?
