Ever since I was young, I have always dreamed of being an astronaut...I always wanted to travel through space, discovering
new planets, explore the cosmos and look at the glowing stars up close and I have always thought that maybe I belong among those stars...

...But now that dream was gone, along with the happy memories of my childhood. Now I worked at a small cafe somewhere in Seoul, feeling so sad and boring like everyone else, living in a black and white life...that is until I met him.
Juno, a young korean boy who was afraid of butterflies, an otaku and my innocent roommate.
Now I can see the world in color, I can see the green grasses and blue skies instead of the patches of gray I have seen for years...
And now I had to make a choice: Either confess to Juno, or run away from my true feelings.
...I wasn't going to be a coward.
I sat in my bedroom in complete silence, tapping my fingers together as I tried thinking about how I was going to tell Juno.
I could write him a love letter...no, too cliché.
I could give him a box of chocolates and flowers...no, too fancy.
I could make him dinner and create a path of roses to our bedroom...okay, WAY too romantic.
Think Mackenzie, think!
Just then, Juno comes into the bedroom, smiling.

"Mackenzie! Umm are you busy tonight...?"

"Busy? O-Oh! N-Not really, why?"
(^^;)

"I-I just wanted to know if you wanted to go on a d-d-date!"

Juno blurts out as his face turns super red. Wait, did Juno just ask me out on...A DATE?!
Like, an ACTUAL date?!
I then started to blush myself as I grip the hem of my shirt.

"O-Oh! S-Sure! I-I mean, if you want to..."

I stuttered as Juno's brown eyes then light up with surprise.
He then smiles brightly as he embraces me, trapping me in his arms as he squeezes me like an orange.

"Yay! I'm so excited!"

"J-Juno...you're squishing me..."

"Oh! S-Sorry!"

Juno apologizes as he lets go of me, pulling his hands away.

"Okay! I know the perfect place for our date! Trust me, okay?"

"Okay okay...I trust you, Juno"

"Juno...this is an amazing view of the city..."

"I knew you would like it~"

Juno replies with a smile as we both stare out at the beautiful scenery of the city from the hills, the lights twinkling like the stars that shined above our heads.

Me and Juno quietly sit on the blanket, not saying a word to each other as we let the nature do the talking.
We heard the distant sound of cars honking, the wind gently blowing in our direction as our hair sways out of our faces.
I stare at Juno, only to find him staring at me with that soft smile...
God, I love his smile.
I love his silliness.
I love him.
I take a deep breath before holding Juno's hands in mine, getting his attention.

"Mackenzie?"

"Juno...there's something I want to tell you...I've been waiting to tell you this for awhile now, but I think it's time you knew"

"Hm? Well, what is it Mackenzie?"

"Juno...when we first met, I felt this...strange thing inside of me, that I have never felt in so long. Meeting you was fate, becoming your close friend was a choice...but falling in love with you...I had no control over. I love your voice, I love your smile, I love your eyes, I love everything about you, Juno...I may not be rich, I may not be talented, I may not be beautiful like the other girls here in this country...but I couldn't run away from these feelings that I have developed for you over time. I'm sorry if-"

I couldn't finish my sentence, for Juno suddenly tackled me, hugging me tightly as I felt his heart race against my chest.

"J-Juno?"

"Mackenzie...you are beautiful, even more beautiful than all the girls here in South Korea...no, more beautiful than all the girls in the world. Ever since my last ex, I didn't know if I would find anyone that'll love me so much...and then I found you. When I first laid eyes on you, I fell for you Mackenzie...and I fell for you hard. Every time I see your smile, I fall for you more and more...I'm completely, madly, deeply, passionately, unconditionally in love with you
Mackenzie...I love you for you. It's like you're the other half of me...its like you're a gift that God has sent down to me"

"Juno..."

I whispered as I stare deep into his brown eyes. Juno does the same, except his eyes were burning with love.

"Mackenzie..."

We both then leaned in, our eyes fluttering shut...and then we kissed, our lips fitting perfectly together like two missing puzzle pieces, his soft lips against mine.
I felt fireworks go off inside of me as I wrap my arms around Juno's slim body, feeling him do the same as we pulled each other closer and closer.
After a kiss that had lasted forever, me and Juno then pull away, gasping for air as we stare at each other's red faces.
Juno then softly smiles.

"Mackenzie...will you be my girlfriend?"

"No!"

"E-Eh?!"

"Because I want to ask you first!"

"Oh!"

Juno giggles before I continued.

"Ahem, Juno, will you be my boyfriend...?"

"Yes!"

Juno blushes as he then kisses me again, causing me to smirk and kiss him back. To love is nothing, to be loved is something. But to love and be loved altogether, that's everything.
But, when it comes to love, they will always have their ups and their downs...

Which explains this future vision that has scared me the most: Losing Juno as I was being left alone, sad and broken...

But that story won't come till later on, so for now, let's focus more on the present.
