Everyone has their own deepest secret...and I never found out about Mr. Vito's deepest, darkest secret until now.

I have known Mr. Vito ever since I first moved to this apartment complex, which was almost a year ago.
Mr. Vito wasn't just your average landlord, he was a man of wisdom...and horrible puns.
I would always spot him in his usual place, which was his gigantic Zen garden, where he tends to it everyday in the early morning, raking the sand and screaming at the street cats to stop using it as their own litter box.
He would always wear a baby-blue bath robe with a different rock band t-shirt underneath, along with clean sweatpants and white slippers.
Okay, so he didn't look exactly "landlord" material...but in all due respect, the thirty-year-old man wasn't horrible.
He was calm and collected, he was kind and caring and whenever there was trouble in the building, he would do anything to solve and I mean ANYTHING.
One time, I had a rat in my apartment and Mr. Vito smashed ALL of my walls with a sledgehammer until he found the critter and disposed of it immediately.
I didn't even have to pay for the walls to get fixed, all thanks to him.
Mr. Vito was just an amazing landlord and that is why me and Juno are going to the apartment complex's 10th anniversary party to show our support for him.
When we reached the lobby, we gasped, for everyone from the building was there, even the Jangnan Twins, who hated Mr. Vito's apartment rules!
I nudged Juno's shoulder after I spot Mr. Vito talking with the guests as his laughter boomed.
To my surprise, he was wearing a suit.
A SUIT!
Man, if Mr. Vito was wearing a suit, then that means that this party meant serious business...
The Austrian man then spots us, smiling as he approached us, holding out his arms wide.

"Ah Mackenzie! Juno! I'm so glad you came!"

"Of course Mr. Vito! Why wouldn't we? You're like, the coolest person I've ever met here in Seoul!"
(*^^*)

Juno then stares at me, giving me that cute little pout of his. I then giggle as I pinch his soft cheek, causing him to smile again.

"Well, second coolest person I've met here in Seoul. Juno is the first~"

"Well come! Make yourselves at home! There's plenty of food and drinks! And soon, I shall give a speech to everyone who has came here tonight~"

"What about your family? Will they be here too?"
(*^^*)

Juno asked as he puts his hands behind his back, smiling at Mr. Vito, who's smile suddenly disappeared, replaced by a look of grief.

"Umm...unfortunately no, they couldn't make it tonight..."

"Awww I'm so sorry! I know how that feels, I miss my parents too..."
(╯_╰)

Mr. Vito's stares at my roommate for a second before sadly smiling to him, patting his back with reassurance.

"Ah, it's okay...now if you'll excuse me, I must talk to Mr. Park. He said that the Jangnan Twins have been giving him trouble..."

Me and Juno both giggle as we then watched Mr. Vito walk away, taking another glass of wine from a passing butler nearby, drinking it all in one gulp.
I then stare back at Juno, who stared at me with worry and concern in his eyes.

"Is something wrong with Mr. Vito? He looked really upset when I mentioned his family...did I say something wrong? Aww I feel bad now! I hope I didn't offend him in some way!"

I shake my head as I then grab Juno's hand, gently squeezing it as I place a kiss upon it.

"It's okay, it's okay. Maybe he just had a big fallout with them in the past and they just stopped talking to each other...who knows, that's just my guess. Anyway, let's keep an eye on him while we enjoy the party, okay?"
