I slowly opened my eyes. It was morning already; I looked up. My head was still on Travis's shoulder. He was more comforting then I thought he was. Last night as I cried about Elijah, he had been there to support me. It was a side I didn't except to see of Travis, but I liked it.
I groaned and sat up; I turned to see Elijah. Most of his clothes were rags and he was sleeping soundlessly. Hard to believe that someone that sleeps like that would turn into such monsters during full moons.
"Elijah?" I whispered slowly getting up, not wanting to wake Travis. I walked over to him and started to shake his shoulder. "Elijah?"
"AAH!" He groaned and stretch out, making me fall on my butt from the scare. He looked around before looking at me. He sat up and hugged me. "I'm so sorry you had to see that"
"It's...its ok." I said, hugging him back. He pulled away and put his hands on my cheeks. "Are you alright?" He asked looking all over my face.
“Yeah. Are you alright?" I asked him. He just nodded before looking at the tree behind him. There was a new set of scratches on the tree.
“I just want to get out of here." He said. I nodded and helped him up. "Can you wake him up and get the keys?" I just nodded. I tried to wake Travis up but he was out cold. A little puddle of saliva was on his shoulder, the opposite one from where I was sleeping thank god.
"Travis?' I shook him. "Travis!" I hissed. He jumped up slamming his head back against the tree.
"Ouch! God!" He groaned before looking up at me. "Zeya! Don't you know you don't wake up a dude when he is having a dream with Angelina Jolie?!"
"Oh my god!" I yelled in annoyance.
"What?"
"Ace said the same thing. I swear, your his mini me"
"What!? I'm not his mini me, he's mine"
"Keys" I said throwing my hand out. He placed them in my hand and I started to un-do the chains on Elijah. "I swear he can't hang out with Ace too much or we will never tell them apart." Elijah started laughing as Travis crossed his arms over his chest.
"Come on! We’re not that alike!"
"Sure, and I can fly." Elijah said.
"I hate you both" He said as he stomped off. Elijah and I were dying laughing.
"You don't want breakfast?" I called after him. He stopped walking in his tracks.
"Breakfast?" He questioned turning around.
"I thought that would get your attention." I said. He came back and started to eat one of the bars Elijah had packed for us. I finished helping Elijah and then we sat and joined him.
"So how was the show last night?" Elijah asked. I didn't want to talk about it. So I didn't say anything. Elijah just nodded as Travis went into detail about his dream.
Apparently he and Angelina had gone out on a date, fighting zombies and other made up creatures. By the time he finished his story we had packed up all the chains and were on our way back to the camp.
"So you and Angelina? Really?
"Yeah. We’re going to get married someday" He smiled.
"And adopt many kids, right? Travis laughed.
"Yeah! I mean I want one of every race" We got back to the camp and he was going on about what he was going to name all his kids.
"Can I be the godmother?" I eveuntally asked trying to get him to shut up.
