"Hmm... What should I write next...?" Jack mumbles to himself as touches his pen to his lips and looks down at his notebook. It's almost chock full of stories that he's written, and there's only enough room for a six page short story. "Man I got writer's block." He says as he closes his notebook for now and walks into a random classroom to get some ideas.
"Huh? W-Who are you?" A timid voice calls out. Not wanting to scare this other person, Jack slowly scans the classroom until his eyes settle on a girl who's sitting in the corner with a similar notebook to his in her hands. She has bright pink hair with a hairband and violet eyes, but they are quickly covered by her notebook.
"I'm not gonna hurt you." Jack chuckles as he slowly and carefully approaches her. The girl slowly uncovers her face as Jack sits just a few feet away from her. "What's your name?"
"K-Kusumi." The girl stutters out.
"I'm Jack." Jack says. "What are you writing?"
"S-Something for a play." Kusumi replies.
"Hmm..." Jack says. "May I see what you've been writing? I just so happen to be a writer myself, but I write stories." And with that the two exchange notebooks. Kusumi's script that she's working on appears to be a modern take on Homer's Odyssey, something that catches his eye. "You've got a pretty good look on this don't you?" And Kusumi nods in agreement.
"Y-You have a pretty good eye for inspirations too." Kusumi says.
"It's a spinoff, or is it a parody? I'm not even sure." Jack replies. "But right now I have writer's block and I've got nothing to write."
"T-That's no good." Kusumi says. "D-Do you not have any ideas?"
"At least not short enough to fill six pages. The stories that I usually write are very long." Jack replies. "One time a story was so long I filled the entire notebook."
"I-I have filled a whole notebook with one script before." Kusumi says. "I-It can get annoying at times."
"Hmm... Is this one done?" Jack asks.
"I-It's almost done. Here, let me finish it." Kusumi replies as Jack hands her notebook back so she can finish it up. Once that's done, she scoots over to Jack, clearly in the mood to brainstorm as the two imagine a scenario in their heads.
Scenario
"Quickly! We must make it to the National Diet Building! Who knows if the aliens are already there!" Jack shouts to Kusumi as they run to said building. "Got your weapons ready?"
"Ready as they'll ever be!" Kusumi shouts back as they whip out their laser blades and laser rifles. Once they reach the National Diet Building they are confronted by a group of abnormally fat aliens that have pulse blasters on their stomachs. They let out massive burps and belches to fire their pulse blasters, barely leaving enough time for Jack and Kusumi to dodge before retaliating. Jack slashes one of the aliens in half with his laser blade while Kusumi blows a clean hole through another alien's skull. The aliens that are still standing burp even louder, firing off larger pulse blasts than normal, but they are terrible shots, and Jack and Kusumi take advantage, blowing the fat aliens away with their weaponry.
As the two storm the building they are met with even fatter aliens that have pulse blasters in their mouths. This only serves to be their undoing as when Jack and Kusumi fire at the blasters, they explode, taking the aliens with them, and before they even know it they've cleared the path to face off with the alien king! He has three pulse blasters, one in his mouth, one on his stomach and the third one is yet to be seen. Only when the king turns around do the two see where the third blaster is located.
"You've got to be kidding me." Jack mumbles as he shoots out that blaster to save himself the disgust. Fortunately it's all they need to shoot as the alien king explodes, leaving Jack and Kusumi victorious!
End Scenario
"Now that sounds like a pretty good plot!" Jack says. "Now how are we going to describe these aliens?"
"S-Shall we poke fun at them?" Kusumi asks. "W-We ARE storming the National DIET building after all." and after she says that, she and Jack can't help but laugh.
Jack's thoughts: She's got a creative mind, and once you get past her shyness, she's a really fun girl to be around. I wonder how that story is going to turn out.
