Jack finds himself in the gym, apparently satisfying the urge to practice some martial arts; more specifically what he has nicknamed "tiger karate" as he took the karate he had learned and mixed it with tiger kung fu. It had a satisfying effect of giving a lethal edge that karate alone wouldn't really be able to do. He's in the middle of doing an array of spinning kicks when a girl walks in. She has a long black ponytail secured with white ribbon and her purple eyes are looking for a fight.

"Hello." Jack says as he steadies himself.

"Hello." The girl replies. "Who are you?"

"I'm Jack." Jack says.

"I've heard many good things about you from other girls." Yuri replies happily, yet keeping that fierce look on her face. "I'm Yuri."

"Honored to meet you Yuri-senpai." Jack says as he shows off that same array of spinning kicks. "You a fighter much?"

"I dedicated most of my life to martial arts." Yuri replies. "I am also a master at kendo."

"I may not be as good at kendo as you but how about we go for some contact sparring?" Jack asks, noticing that they're both in PE uniforms.

"Alright, let's spar then. Let's see how long you can last against me." Yuri taunts as they pull out a giant mat and prepare to spar. Only a few seconds pass after they've set down the mat and they're already going at it with everything they have! Yuri seems to know multiple styles of kung fu, including snake, mantis and crane, but Jack's more pragmatic karate and tiger kung fu blend proves to be more ferocious.

"Take this!" Jack shouts as he knocks Yuri back with a shoulder rush and then pounces on her like a mad tiger! Yuri is shocked for a few seconds before she throws Jack off of him and then blindsides him with a flurry of mantis strikes! Jack manages to knock down Yuri once more and pins her for a few seconds before they both get back on their feet.

"Okay, I guess that won't work then." Yuri mumbles. "How about this?" She says as she starts stumbling around, randomly throwing her fists around. Jack is smart and keeps his distance as Yuri drunkenly charges at Jack, but he didn't back up far enough as Yuri lands a nasty dropkick before falling to the mat.

"Alright you got me that time." Jack says as they both get back up. Yuri then delivers a barrage of drunken punches, but they're all blocked by Jack who quickly grabs her arms and sends her flying! Yuri quickly rolls out of the fall before getting back up.

"Time to fight fire with fire I guess!" Yuri says to herself as her hands become the claws of a tiger, matching Jack's fighting style somewhat. What happens next can only be described as gory if it weren't for the fact Jack and Yuri were just sparring. "YAH!" Yuri yells as she pounces on Jack, hands clasped with his, and they both wrestle for a little bit before they get back up and let the claws fly! Unfortunately Yuri did not know that Jack mixed karate with tiger kung fu and she's suddenly hit in the face with a spinning hook before Jack uses this opportunity to finish her off, driving his palm into her solar plexus before pouncing and pinning her down.

"Looks like I won." Jack says, still mounting Yuri. "But not without saying you put up one hell of a fight."

"I did dedicate most of my life to martial arts after all." Yuri replies as Jack gets off and helps her get back on her feet. "Excellent match. Was that all tiger kung fu?"

"Karate mixed with tiger kung fu." Jack says. "That's probably why you were so taken aback by my spinning hook."

"That's probably why." Yuri replies. "Wanna go for round two?"

"After all of THAT? I'm all pooped out." Jack chuckles. "Maybe after a good long break."

Jack's thoughts: She's a dedicated martial artist and sparring with her proved just that. I don't know what she plans to do with all of that martial arts expertise but I know she will use it with good intention.

*Yuri was undoubtedly a great rival to Yukina when it came down to picking the girl that Jack would fall for, but she just fell short. Yuri's kendo experience means she's already a formidable swordswoman, and not many would want to stand in the way of her blade. The goddess' fortification would allow Yuri to channel angelic energy into her blade and release a wave of said energy with one mighty slash, and Lucifer's fortification would grant Yuri limited telekinesis, allowing her to wield her blade from afar and call it back should she lose grip in a fight.
