Yuki Shirogane: Astronomical Disbelief

"Another day, another lost battle with boredom." Jack mumbles to himself as he naps in the hallways. Not even that manages to free him from the shackles of boredom as he aimlessly walks around the hallways. That's when he bumps into a girl, and the two spin around for a few seconds before turning to see the other. "Sorry about that."

"It's fine." The girl says. She has blonde hair that just falls to her shoulders and almost mauve colored eyes that suddenly light up as the girl suddenly clings to Jack.

"Huh? What the-" Jack says, trying to pry the girl off of him.

"Could you be my prince charming? I'm Yuki!" The girl says cheerily. After a few moments Jack manages to pry Yuki off of him and the two look at each other. "It's just like fate! And now I shall seal it!" Yuki says as she begins to lean in for a kiss. She's quickly met by Jack's hand though and she looks at Jack in shock. "Eh? Are you not it?"

"I'm really sorry but what is going on Yuki?" Jack asks. "I think you've got the wrong guy."

"Do I umm..." Yuki trails off.

"Jack." Jack replies.

"Do I Jack?" Yuki asks. "I read my horoscope today and it told me that I would meet my beloved in an unexpected turn of events!"

"You consider bumping into me unexpected?" Jack chuckles. "I think you might wanna watch where you're going next time. I'm not even looking for love right now."

"Eh?" Yuki asks, bewildered. "All the other guys are!"

"Yuki, you could have bumped into ANYONE and that would mean they're your destined lover." Jack replies. "I just don't understand horoscopes, all I know is that I'm a capricorn and that's it."

"Aww..." Yuki says dejectedly.

"But even though I may not be your prince charming, I may just be your robin hood." Jack chuckles.

"What's that mean?" Yuki asks, confused at what Jack's getting at.

"See, I'm not like other guys. While the guys at our academy just want nothing more than to get into every girl's skirt, I seek to befriend and form strong bonds with them. You've probably seen me around the school doing various favors, even acting as an escort to some, and I won't hesitate to extend my hand to those in need." Jack explains. "While I may not understand horoscopes as well as you do, I do know how guys act, and what you can watch out for."

"I've never had someone do this for me, let alone a guy." Yuki says. "Thank you so much!"

"It's nothing." Jack replies as he does a bow. "I'm just doing what I can honestly. Everyone has their own battles to fight, but sometimes what they really need is an ally for when you're stuck on the front lines to give you support and help you fight on."

"Are you a philosopher or something?" Yuki asks.

"Nope, just an ordinary academy guy." Jack replies, knowing he's anything but ordinary.

"I'll be your prince charming baby!" A random academy guy calls out. Jack and Yuki turn around to see a nerd calling out for Yuki, but Jack simply waves him away.

"Buzz off." Jack says. "He's not worthy of you anyway. Who you really need is a guy who will support you in life, a man you can come to rely on without having to worry about anything he might do in return. In otherwords you need a gentleman, a prince. While I may not be the one, I guess I will keep an eye out for you."

"Thank you." Yuki replies as the two shake hands.

Jack's thoughts: She relies heavily on these horoscopes doesn't she? If I'm being honest it kinda makes her look like a ditz but hey, at least I'm extending my hand and giving her a little help in life.
