Mikoto Kumano: Sweet Thief

"Man, this is practically a rare healing item in any game, you just can't get enough of these!" Jack chuckles to himself as he pulls out a bag of candy and starts eating some of it. "Mmm... So tasty..." It's not long before he notices that someone is looking at him eagerly. He looks up to see a girl with light brown hair and fuchsia eyes, and she seems to be looking eagerly at his bag of candy. "Hello there. What's your name?"

"I'm Mikoto." The girl replies. "That looks really good doesn't it?"

"It is." Jack says as he savors a piece of chocolate. Mikoto decides to sit with him, still eyeing the bag of candy. "By the way the name's Jack."

"I guess I could call myself a candy connoisseur considering how many different kinds I've eaten so far." Mikoto chuckles.

"You really seem to want a piece." Jack says. "Want one?" He asks, opening up the bag and offering her to dig her hand in and grab something. What Jack doesn't expect is for Mikoto to nab the entire bag and start running! "Wha- get back here!"

"Catch me if you can!" Mikoto laughs as she tries to get away from Jack, who's actively pursuing her.

"Why you little thief! Get back- WHOA!" Jack shouts as he slips on something and falls on his butt. "Ow!"

"Ha ha!" Mikoto laughs as Jack gets back on his feet and continues to chase her.

"Don't think you've lost me just yet!" Jack shouts as he continues to chase after Mikoto. Random students pass by and see the commotion, not able to help themselves as they laugh. Eventually Mikoto makes a sharp turn into a classroom as Jack slows down to see where she might have gone. "Where are you? You can't hide forever you know that!" The sound of munching gives away Mikoto's position as she runs out of the classroom with Jack on her six!

"Ugh, some of this candy is melting too quick..." Mikoto mumbles as she drops one of the melting candies in his path, and he ends up slipping on it before falling on his face.

"Oof!" Jack shouts as Mikoto tries to lose Jack, but she fails as he quickly gets back on his feet and runs after her once again. "Why you! How does this girl have so much energy?!"

"You won't catch me!" Mikoto laughs as she continues to be chased all around the main building, and eventually she heads out into the courtyard with Jack nipping at her heels. The chase goes all the way into the gym, and then Mikoto begins to lose steam as she starts getting slower and slower until finally she's too pooped out to run any more. Jack finally catches up to her and realizes how she managed to keep him at bay for so long.

"Geez! You ate all my candy!" Jack says. "What's the big idea?"

"I'm sorry... I just love candy so much..." Mikoto says between pants. She's so exhausted that she falls on her butt, unable to move around much more than from where she's sitting right now. "I'm practically addicted... Gosh I can't move..."

"Well... It was quite the chase... I'm shocked I ran for this long..." Jack says, feeling the exhaustion sweep over him as he himself collapses to the floor.

"At this rate I'd probably shed even more pounds than I do while swimming." Mikoto chuckles.

"Well I'll give you that, but you owe me a bag of candy." Jack says. "And don't you dare eat it all before I get it."

"Alright, since we've tired each other out this much, I guess I'll make it up to you." Mikoto replies as the two make a pinky promise.

Jack's thoughts: She's a thief, but she's a cute thief. Mental note: do not offer her candy, she will take the entire bag and run off with it.
