Kanko Shishido: Damage Report

This is a continuation of "Rion Harusame: Bad Blood"

As Jack came to his senses, he found himself in the infirmary.

"It's a relief that you've come to your senses!" A voice calls out. "I'm Nurse Kurashiki, and I was very lucky to have reached you in time. I had heard about a fight in the hallways and then came across you!"

"Ugh... My aching everything..." Jack mumbles as he slowly and painfully sits up. "I remember everything that happened before... But god I'm hurting all over..."

"As soon as I got you here I called one of the disciplinary committee members." Nurse Kurashiki explains. "It was a scuffle between you and a first year student so we've called this young lady in."

"Howdy. Ya feelin better over there?" A country voice asks. Jack looks over to see a first year girl with black hair tied into low pigtails, black eyes obscured by swirly glasses, and a band on her left arm with white kanji denoting her as a member of the disciplinary committee. "Kanko Shishido reportin for duty. I'll let ya recover first, ya look absolutely awful!" Kanko gives Jack half an hour to recover before she looks into Jack's eyes. "Alright Jack, ready to tell what happened?" She asks as she pulls out a clipboard, ready to write down the important parts of Jack's testimony.

"Yeah, I'm pretty ready." Jack says as he explains what happened. "I came into the academy feeling really tired and I had fallen asleep at one of the random classroom desks."

"Were ya not feelin good then?" Kanko asks.

"I didn't get much sleep last night." Jack replies. "Anyways, I was dozing off at one of the desks before I'm prodded awake by a girl with dark purple hair and blue eyes. I think her name was Rion Harusame...? Anyways we start talking and getting to know each other, and then she mentioned transferring from another academy."

"Ya happen to be a transfer student yourself." Kanko says.

"And it just so happened she was the same girl that bullied me for most of my life. Things escalated and she resorted to violence. I had my groin crushed, I got headbutted, and then I had my head caved in before I blacked out. That's how I ended up here." Jack finishes. Kanko finishes writing up the critical parts and looks at Jack with a confident look on her face.

"Your testimony lines up almost exactly with what the security cameras captured." Kanko replies. "The most you were doin was blockin her attacks and tryin to deescalate the situation at hand. I understand if you had no choice but to retaliate but still, this is a serious incident and it can't go without bein reported to the principal."

"I completely understand." Jack says. "I'm willing to accept any consequences that may come before me."

"I highly doubt you'll get any." Kanko replies. "Ya acted in self defense. It'll be that Rion girl that'll be gettin in trouble. Now come on, let's head to the principal's office while the injuries are still fresh." She says, helping Jack off the infirmary bed. He sports a big bruise from where Rion headbutted him, he's missing some of his front teeth from when she caved Jack's face in with her fists and he's also walking funny from Rion's foot torture as he leans on Kanko for support. "Man, she really did a number on ya didn't she?"

"She sure as hell did..." Jack mumbles as they reach the principal's office where a very startled principal emerges.

"Are you okay?" The principal asks.

"That's what we're here for." Kanko says. "I have the critical parts of his testimony here."

"Thank you. May the both of you come with me? We need to settle this as soon as possible." The principal says as they head off with the principal.

Jack's thoughts: She's got a real country girl accent, and it's almost kinda cute. She is a really sweet, down to earth girl that ya just can't get enough of. Oh great I'm starting to talk like her now. Heh heh...
