FIRST-PERSON POV.
I glanced around again. This couldn't be happening. Luckily, Rocky decided that he'd be in charge.
"Alright, listen up! Apparently, Uh, this might have to be our new home. So we should start making the best of it and cleaning this place up." Rocky said. Ray nodded in agreement and so did Dove and Cactus.
I picked up a nearby piece of a map. It was burned too much, and only caught sight of the word 'Trees' before deciding that it was useless and letting it go, the wind blowing it away.
Cyan suddenly decided not to show fear anymore and sidled away, clearing her throat. I chuckled.
The next few hours were a blur for me. Everyone had gone silent and gotten to work on fixing the place up. By the end of the day, we'd built a small hut and gotten most of the trash out of our way. We all entered the hut, Ray having declared that we all needed a break (which we did).
But rest was a long way from us, and only Ray fell asleep that night.
