FIRST-PERSON POV.
Well, where am I supposed to begin?
I woke up on an elevator going to this place called Utopia with six other dragonets. We can't remember anything and literally less than two days in we're attacked by an abomination.
Yeah. I was not digging this whole 'Utopia' thing.
I had just finished eating when I heard someone approaching me. I turned to face them-it was Dove. "Hey," I said with a grin. "What's up?" I'm thinking, like, we can't all just sit around and be scared. Then we'll be doing nothing! So I'm trying to get everyone to look up from their gloom and listen to me tell jokes. Lift up their spirits, you know?
"Hi, Rocky." She said, smiling back. "I was thinking about the whole city thing. Maybe we shouldn't go soon. It's pretty far away and I'm not sure I want to be on the move for so long without food or knowledge of the area. Maybe we could explore our surroundings prior to leaving?"
I nodded. That was a good plan. You see, this is why I liked-and still like-Dove. She's smart and doesn't judge anyone. She's a good friend if I've ever seen one.
"We'll keep discussing this. We can tell the others later." I nodded again.
We might have to wait, but in the end it would all be worth it.
We'll see that we find our way home, wherever home may be.
