"This is a knife." I said grimly, disbelief beginning to seep into my voice, doubt filling my mind and clouding my thoughts up. "You had a knife, Cactus. The last time we saw a knife around here was when...."
My eyes avoided looking at Starshine, who was quietly sobbing on the ground. I left him there; there'd be time to patch up his arm later, for now I needed to figure out what to do with Cactus.
"You'll never understand." She snarled. "And if you think I was the one to attack Starshine, no, I didn't do I-"
"Think you were the one!? You saying that plus this knife is beginning to make me think that there are other dragons here, and your quiet and pathetic little tail is working for them!"
"RAY." I grabbed his shoulder firmly. "Let me deal with talking to her." Rocky turned back to Cactus. "I don't care what happened earlier. Why did you attempt to stab Cyan, and why did you stab Starshine!?"
She gritted her teeth, and shook her head. "You leave me alone when it comes to that. Cyan deserves to get harmed, I ain't saying killed but that would be nice too."
I glared at Cactus. What was up with her? She was perfectly fine earlier...
"Cactus, come with me. Cyan, Ray, let'er go."
"Let her go?" Cyan hissed. "After what she did to Starshine? No, let me get a few punches in first-"
"Now." I gripped the knife. Reluctantly, the other two stepped away from her, and I yanked her up by her throat, almost tossing her. She stumbled, and I pointed the bloody knife at her. "Outside. Now. You and me are going for a walk." I grunted. Usually, I wouldn't have pointed a knife or tried to threaten or hurt her, but right now she had proven herself to be dangerous. I wanted answers, I know it sounds stupid, but...
