FIRST-PERSON POV.
I didn't move when I woke up. It was too nice being wherever I was right now. I kept my eyes closed and snuggled a bit closer to whatever it was.
And then I remembered yesterday, and I opened my eyes slightly. I was curled up with Cyan, which made me blush. I realized now that I liked her, as more than a friend.
I decided to savor the moment and stay there, eyes closed again.
Five minutes later, this nice little peaceful rest was cut short by Ray slamming open the door with a mystified grin on his face. "YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT I FOUND!" He shouted. I flinched, and Cyan grumbled in her sleep and moved closer to me.
I glared at him and Ray said "Come on, I know how bad your wounds are, but this pond LITERALLY HEALS YOU! I had cut my paw and IT HEALED MY PAW! COME LOOK, COME LOOK!" He ran back into the forest. Cactus walked out of the forest a moment later and beckoned for us to follow. Rocky reluctantly got up and so did a very sleepy Dove, then I finally nudged Cyan with my snout. She woke up, yawning, then saw me and she was definitely blushing. "Lets go with the others, Ray claimed he found a healing pond." I said. Cyan looked disbelieving, and I just shrugged and rested my head on her chest again.
"Uh-right-Let's go." She said. I wondered if she was as unhappy as I was to get up. We followed after them quickly so we could catch up.
When we reached the pond, Dove had said that she tested it and it worked. She removed all the leaf-bandages and had me step in. In seconds, all my wounds were gone.
I couldn't help but smile widely. Today, so far, was great.
