Hunger.

FIRST-PERSON POV.
I heard someone yawning and I opened my eyes. It was Cyan, and she didn't seem to notice that I was awake yet. She stretched her wings and headed for the door.
I waited until she was outside to sneak after her. Where was she going? I watched her walk over to the hole in the walls, and she watched the forest for a minute before entering it. I was confused. Why would-
It hit me suddenly. She was hungry. And, so was I. I hadn't eaten in a day or two. We all were probably hungry. I quickly followed after her.
She still hadn't noticed me. I noted that she was walking rather slow. Maybe it was because of what she had seen yesterday.
I snuck up behind her and whispered "Boo."
She jumped and screamed so loud my ears hurt. I actually sort of felt bad, she sounded so scared, until she started clawing at my face. "I'm sorry!" I laughed, stumbling away. She glared at me.
I was lightly bleeding from a few cuts and she seemed to notice. She glared at him. "What was that for?" She said. She glanced at the cuts, and said "Sorry, but don't do that."
I nodded. "What are you even doing our here?" I asked.
"Hunting," she replied.
