[HIATUS] U T O P I A - A WOF FANFIC

Greetings.

STARSHINE
FIRST-PERSON POV.
As we waited there, the Rainwing kept sobbing. I felt bad for her. The others began to wake up too, having similar reactions to mine I suspected. No-one spoke for a minute. The Rainwing wiped her tears away and looked at them with watery eyes.
"So..." the MudWing said finally, his voice rather deep. "Does anybody know where we are?" He stretched, and he was clearly the tallest and strongest out of all of us.
We all shook our heads, except for the Rainwing, who was trying not to burst into tears again.
The MudWing sighed and spoke up again. "I suspect that we're gonna be here for a while. Let's introduce ourselves. I'm Rocky." He said. Nobody spoke for another minute.
"Cactus." The SandWing said finally. Her voice was much softer than his and she was rather quiet right now. The MudWing gave them all a reassuring smile.
"I'm Dove," the SkyWing said, looking at all of them with a soft, weak smile.
The IceWing gave us all a cold, calculating look, trying to hide the fact that she was scared. We all saw right through the act. Finally, she said "I'm Cyan." Her scales, indeed, were a mix of silver and cyan, with some dark blue scales. I'm not ashamed to say that she didn't look half bad.
The Rainwing blinked a couple of times to try and get rid of some tears. "I-I'm Apple." She stammered.
The SeaWing nudged her gently with his snout, then said "I'm Ray."
Finally, I spoke. "I'm Starshine." I said. I was startled at how raspy my voice was, and coughed involuntarily.
We all looked scared, upset, curious, and we were all trying to hide all of that. We gave each other wary looks and sat in silence for a minute.
The MudWing clapped his talons together, making all of us jump as the tension in the room snapped like a twig. "Well, now that we all know our names, let's figure out what in the world is going on."
