"The world is full of magic things,
Patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper."

I stand here, staring at the most acclaimed apartment building of NYC, I look at my phone again, at the message I had received from Sienna regarding the address, and wonder why me?
I had to do babysitting of a boy residing in the penthouse, and almost everyone knows that the massive penthouse of this building is owned by The Hunts. This means that Adrian has a little brother, and before today I hadn't known that there was another Hunt child. This would be interesting but also hella awkward to babysit Adrian's brother, what if he made fun of me at school? I shook that thought, Adrian wouldn't do that. But how do I know that? I don't even know Adrian.
Anxiety starts to creep in my bones, the all too familiar feeling of not belonging, and the social anxiety. I shake it off, I take deep breaths, shake my head and march forward.
I curse my faith one more time and get inside the lobby. The guard asks me, who I was here for and lets me in immediately after I showed him the message from Sienna. I felt a little underdressed here, with my simple black jeans and a shirt which had coffee written across it, around people who were in business suits going to or coming back from their respective businesses. There was also a big party being held in the city by the Collins, to which Lee was going, and thank god I was able to squiggle my way out of it.
As I was thinking this, and obviously many more things, because anxiety is a germ, I hear the ding of the glass elevator, indicating that I had finally reached the penthouse. Yes, I didn't look down, I kept thinking, and tried not to. My fear of heights is still very much there though not so much as to not enter the elevator because of it.
I moved to the mentioned door and hoping maybe that Adrian won't be inside. But parties start at 8 and that's when my duty ends. But maybe Adrian is at a friends' house?
Anyways, I looked at the camera, "Hello, I am Camilla, I have come to babysit Tyler," I smiled to what I could only hope looked like a smile because I was feeling weird talking to a camera. I feel weird talking to people come on, this was a freaking camera!
Suddenly the door was opened by a kind looking old lady, I assumed she was Sienna and a person who looked after Tyler, her husband wasn't in good health which is why she is going to go early to her house until he gets okay. I hope he does, but this is why I am needed here from 5 to 8 as after that apparently his father comes? I don't know about the after part though.
I just know that I have to tuck him in to sleep at eight and then go.
I get rid of these thoughts when Sienna calls out to me in a sweet voice,"Oh, hello dear, come on in." She gestured to move inside and closed the door behind me.
Sienna then continues to talk while I admire the surroundings, obviously my house was incredible and all but it was more on the classic side of things, this on the other hand, was full blown modern penthouse, with glass doors, oh god no! And a small spiral staircase leading to the room above. This I presumed was the living room. It had a long luxurious sofa facing a big flat screen TV with two more sofas resting on each side. Everything was a combination of grey and white. There were no picture though, as far as I could see there wasn't even one picture in this penthouse.
I was so busy admiring the freaking penthouse, that I don't hear what Sienna was saying until she says, "I'm glad you are here uh--I am sorry dear, what's your name again?" she smile apologetically.
"Camilla."
"Oh, yes, Camilla dear, I am sorry, you know, my memory is getting worse by age."
"No, it's okay, Sienna."
