So I became inspired when I listened to Christina Perri's Jar of Hearts.
I know you will say Clara is too clever to be in this situation.
I get that. But it would be interesting, am I right?

When the Doctor saw Clara, ever Wednesday, there was something wrong. She didn't have that sweet smile anymore, but a fake one. No more cheery tone, but just a monotone one. It wasn't his Clara anymore. Someone had changed her..
"See you next Wednesday Doctor." Clara said quietly as she closed the door to the TARDIS. Once she left, he took action. He took the TARDIS behind Clara's flat and ran out. He checked his sonic, scanning the area. There was an alien, one of the evilest in the Heartless Galaxy. This certain alien made you felt secure, happy, and it would make you lower your defences with every touch. But in truth, it's just collecting your heart for it's master. The Doctor hadn't seen this creature for a long time, last he did was with his past regeneration.
He ran up the stairs until he reached the 8th floor. He ran to her flat door and he could hear the alien... He soniced he door and saw them slightly making out, you could say that. The alien noticed him, however Clara didn't.
"Doctor..." It hissed, looking at him. The alien looked like a human, but it wasn't.
"What do you want with her?" The Doctor asked as the alien put Clara down, as if she was nothing.
"She was longing for a lover... You didn't seem to care. It was so easy... Easy to take her heart..." The alien straightened it's brown hair.
"But I do!" The Doctor protested.
"I've seen her heart... She longs and loves you Doctor. You pushed her away. I wouldn't even be here if she had a special someone." The creature smirked. "Humans," he continued, "Such sweet and delicate creatures. They need love, everyday. A subtle or shown love." The creature laughed. "Miss Oswald's heart was very strong. My master will pay highly for this one."
"No." Was all the Doctor said and he raised his sonic and pressed the button. The buzzing sound irritated the creature.
"Gah!" Some type of pink mist came from the alien's mouth and went to Clara's mouth. That was how they stole hearts, in a mist form.
"I'll be back..." The creature hissed before running to the door. Once the alien was gone, the Doctor carried Clara and slowly took her down to the TARDIS.

Hours became days and days became weeks. He didn't know what to do. Sure, he encountered them, but he never had to defeat them or reverse the process.
Until one day, he decided to try something stupid. Well, he didn't think it was really that stupid, but he had to.
He leaned in and gave her a simple kiss on the lips. However, as if on cue, Clara deepned the kiss. They shared that moment for several moments before they parted.
"Clara!" the Doctor smiled happily. It worked.
"Doctor... What happened..." She asked quietly as if speaking in a normal voice would shatter the world.
"Long story short, an alien made you like it and then he stole your heart. However I stopped him before he went any further." He explained, leaving out the kiss part.
"Is that all?"
"Yup! That's it! Nothing else." The Doctor smiled a bit too brightly than normal.
"I enjoyed the kiss though." Oh no, she remembered.
"Err..." Clara smirked and gave him another kiss on the lips. They let go and the Doctor was blushing profoundly.
"You kissed me!" The Doctor stared at her, eyes wide.
"And you're still blushing."
