Clara couldn't take it. He barely noticed her anymore, after what he saw at the Caves of Truth. They never flew away from the caves, just... Stayed. It hurt, him ignoring her. She was so used to the cheerful man she grew to care about, grew to have fun with, grew to... Love.
"Doctor, why? Why won't you talk to me?" Clara asked, finally done with having no answer for the past few months.
"I already told you, it's for me to know and for you to not know." He replied, the same gruff voice he used now.
"I'm done with you not telling me! Why? Do you hate me?!"
"MAYBE I DO! Maybe, I should find a new companion, someone who isn't a stupid control freak!" He immediately regretted what he said. It was just... What he saw, it was something that reminded him of long ago.
"Maybe you should. Let's hope someone can deal with your ignorance." She snapped her fingers and instantly the TARDIS door opened. She walked over and was about to leave, but before she did, she looked at him one last time.
"I hate you." She said, slightly regretting that, but she only said that because she was in the moment. She left the TARDIS, running towards the caves.
