chapter 15

I got an Uber to his mom's house while he and Braun got one to the proactive sports performance gym. I was nervous as all hell and would do anything for a shot. I had on a white off the shoulder blouse and a yellow floral skirt.

I wanted to dress nice but I had no idea how nice and it was 93° so I had to figure out how to look good without having a heat stroke. I watch the house come into view and can tell the relation to how Christians apartment was decorated and ow the outside this beautiful home was. I get out tipping the Uber and soon see Alecia opening the door and 3 little dogs running for my feet. I crouched down to pet them recognizing cooper from the pictures Christian showed me.
"Hi babies, hello Mrs.Yelich" I stand up to shake her hand soon seeing her arms open to a hug.
"Hello honey, how are you?"
"I'm amazing, how are you?"
"Great come inside I have lunch, " she leads me through the house to a back yard patio. She had a sushi bar laid out.
"Oh my this is so cool, " I say amazed at the different types of sushi she had.
"Oh, I had to give credit to the place down the street I could never make them myself, " I watch her grab a glass plate and hand it to me getting the other one for her self. I get a few pieces being scared to look like I'm pigging out. I take my seat to the left of her so I can talk to her from a good angle. The dogs jump into the seats in front of me and I laugh at how they were sitting like they were ready for dinner.
“Charles, daisy, cooper down. You know your not supposed to be up here, " the dogs listen and jump down and walk reluctantly inside.
"Your house is beautiful Mrs.Yelich"
"Thank you, Astrid, I love it I never wanna leave."
"I don't blame you, I hope to have something just as nice."
"Are you looking for a house or an apartment when you move here?" I let out a sigh of relief I wasn't sure if Christian had told her I was moving to Cali and didn't know how to bring it up.
"Right now I'm looking at apartments but maybe ill find a house."
"Well if you need any help looking or decorating I'm here, " I smile and thank her 'I'm here' I could tell by the way she said it she meant it in more then one way. I could feel that I would be seeing a lot more of her even if it wasn't for Christian.
"So how are you and Christian gonna do this, long-distance?" I get choked up as the words leave her mouth, here they come the relationship questions.
"We're gonna just become friends, I don't think he wants long distance, " I see here turn sad and her face question what I was saying.
"Oh, I'll have to talk to him. Don't tell him I told you this but he called me and talk about nothing but you. You are everything my son has been looking for. Smart, funny, caring, and as a plus beautiful. He's so in love with you," She smiles and puts her hand on mine rubbing the back of it with her thumb.
"Thank you, I love him too." I can't make the smile on my face go away.
"You both love each other too much to be just friends, I don't know how but you two can work it out with long-distance, " I sigh and let her words settle in. She was right I loved him he loved me. We made each other happy there was no reason for us to just stop, we could work it out.

We go to dodger stadium together to make it easier and cheaper on me. We get there around the time the other guys were getting there. Alecia goes to the clubhouse to find Christian and I head to the field to watch bp.
"YOUR BACK, " Cody walks over yelling and high-fiving me
"Yeah I decided to come back to the circus to see my favorite clowns, " I laugh punching his shoulder.
"So are you really moving here?" Corey walks up beside him taking off his hat.
"Yeah I'm moving to San Francisco I'm doing postgame media for the warriors, "
"Damn cool, I'll have to try and make some games see you in action, " Corey says making me blush slightly.
"Come here I wanna see you hit, VERDUGO GET UR ASS OUTTA THERE LET ASTRID DO HER THING, "
I laugh following him.
"And what is my thing, Bellinger?"
"I don't know guess we'll see, " I was now happy I chose to wear my white vans and not the sandals I wanted to. Cody hands me a bar goes to throw me a few balls.
"STRIKE, " Verdugo yells standing in front of me. I give him a look and he raises his hands laughing. The next ball was also a strike and I looked at Verdugo seeing him throw his head back laughing.
"Loosen your grip you're to tense, you're just having fun, " Cody yells to me and I listen loosening my hands around the bat. I watch the ball and seeing closing my eyes soon hearing cheers from the other guys. Then Verdugo raising me in the air over his back running around.
"THE ROOKIE DID IT A HOMER FOR ASTRID, " Cody yells high-fiving me. I jump out of verdugos arms and then around to see Christian and some of the other guys coming out of the dugout to take BP.
"BABE YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT, " I say running in jumping in his arms wrapping mine around his. I kiss him and continue the celebration.
"Your girl is coming for you job Yeli, she just hit a home run, " Cody says running into the dugout to grab a set of keys.
"Damn how are you just so amazing at everything." I laugh kissing him again, then turning to the guys getting high fives. "I wanna talk ok, " he says pulling me to the side. "My moms right we can work this out, whatever this will be." I smile feeling myself relive and see him smile.
"I know we can, I love you yelich, "
"I love you star, " he pulls me towards him and he kisses me passionately.
"Hey can you, come up for air for a second" we're interrupted by Cody then throwing a ball to me. "There's your home run, " He says smiling
"Thanks, Bellinger," I say smiling back.

Brewers win the second game of the series 7-9 win. I hug Alecia and she hugs Christians whispering something in his ear making him roll his eyes and laugh. When we get to the room we both run to the air conditioner too for in front of it. The heat was killed and I knew it had to be hell on him. I slide off the bed to start the shower making it not to hot not to cold. I take off my clothes jumping in washing the sweat off my body taking a deep relaxed breath. Christian soon follows suit getting in with me. He presses himself against me kissing my neck feeling my hips with his hands. I let out a slight moan causing him to laugh slightly.
