"You're kidding," She smiled grabbing the test from my hands staring at it. "OH MY GOD,"
"OH MY GOD," I scream after her crying more. She wraps her arms around me and I can hear her start to cry too.
"Oh god I'm so happy for you," she pulls back putting her hand on my stomach. I now had a life inside me, everything I was about to do now and forever would be for me and this person. Yesterday the idea of having a child wasn't a thought or a care. But now knowing I have this baby its the only thing I want and need to care about.

I a V just say there for the next few hours talking and crying occasionally, when my phone started ringing showing Christians name
"Hey, are you at codys? Do you need me to come get you?"
"Yeah but I wanna stay here congratulate him."
"Alright ill see you tomorrow I love you,"
"I love you too," I smile at my phone as I hang up the call sighing happily.
"You're gonna stay here?" V handed me a Gatorade opening herself a beer.
"Yeah, I'm not ready to tell him." I finish my sentence and the door swings open to a smiling Cody. He reeked of champagne and beer. He held out his arms as V walked into them. I felt my heart warm at the way he hugged her. Squeezing the breath out of her, lifting her off her feet. I stood up giving him a hug thinking to myself "congrats uncle Cody".

He grabs two beers out of the fridge sitting one in front of me, cracking the other open taking a sip.
"Come on Astrid drink with us celebrate," I dart my eyes to V and we both smile.
"No, I'm good." I smile sipping my Gatorade.
"Wow what are you pregnant?" he chuckles sipping his beer. I and V stare at each other not able to contain our laughter. "What?" he looks at us confused then his getting wide realizing. "No, no way."
"Yes, Cody," I say putting my hand on my stomach.
"Oh my god," he gasps voice cracking on the last word. "Your pregnant, there's a person in there."
"Yep," I put my hand on my stomach holding back tears.
"IM GONNA BE AN UNCLE," he jumps up pulling me out of my chair hugging me rocking back and forth. He grabs my arms holding me in from of him smiling tears in his eyes. "I'm so happy for you. You are going to be an amazing mother."

None of us could sleep that night from all the excitement and were riding it for energy the next day. I just laid in bed thinking of how I was gonna tell Christian. Just flat tell him or surprise him.
"Hey I'm making some crepes you and baby want some," V pokes her head in the door grinning.
"Yes, we would love some" I laugh saying 'we' with a little bit of sarcasm. She smiles spinning away.

"So I've been thinking," Cody immediately starts in sliding me the bananas and Nutella. "If the baby is a boy can he be named CJ?"
"HEEELLLL NO," I look at him like he's crazy which he had to be. "I'm not naming my child after you Cody,"
"At least I tried," I scoff at him taking a bite of a banana shaking my head side to side.

"Alright, I'm gonna head over to Christians," I finish drying the dishes and put up the last plate.
"So your gonna tell him," V wipes of the counter smiling. She wasn't looking at me but I could hear it in her voice.
"I'm gonna try," I huff my chest getting tight. God, what would his reaction be, we never really talked about kids what if he didn't want any.
"He loves you, it's gonna be ok," she wrapped her arms around me rubbing my back reassuring me. Its what I needed by guessing I was around 3 weeks and had about 5 till I started showing.

I park on the curb seeing that everyone was home, Christian, Alecia, Collin, and Cameron. This could be perfect. I knock on the door going ever 6 different scripts in my head.
"I'm pregnant,"
"Hey, daddio,"
"You knocked me up," the door opens and Christian smiles gazing down at me.
"Hi, beautiful,"
"Hi," putting his arm around me leaning down kissing me throwing my mind completely off course.
"I don't know how I lasted 2 months without you."
"Get ready for more of me plus some," I joke nervously laughing.
"Christian bring her in," I hear Alecia yell from inside and I slip in under him.
"Hi Alecia," I practically run over to her wrapping my arms around her letting out a light sigh. Feeling a bit of euphoria knowing that I wasn't just hugging my replacement mom or my boyfriend's mom. I was hugging my child's grandma.

Alecia made lunch and I could talk by the way somethings were made. Two separate sandwiches with no pickles.
"Christian quit starring at Astrid and help her carry some trays out," I snicker watching him blush grabbing the plates.
"Christian we need to talk," I sit the plates down in 5 spots and try to add some cheeriness to my voice not wanting to make him nervous.
"About?"
"Uh well about us," I just wanted to scream it at him.

(Happy postseason we made it. Uh schools been a bitch. I miss Christian woo)
